About this deal

The Clementoni Interactive Ride on Unicorn is available from toys shops including Smyths for around RRP 39.99, which I think is really reasonable for this type of large toy. Ava just loves getting about on it. Her favourite thing at the moment is playing shops. So she asks me and Jordan what we would like from the shop. She then gets on her unicorn and off she goes to get it us. The seat sensor recognizes when the child is sitting by offering fun music. Full of functions for interaction with sounds, music, songs and words but also many mechanical activities for the development of manual skills. I love the fact that it includes Spanish into the music and sounds. As Children are like sponges when they are young so the more we try to teach them when they are younger the better. Like I said earlier Ava has started to copy some of the Spanish words which she would have only learnt from the Baby Clementoni Ride-On unicorn.

There is some assembly required, although it’s not too taxing as long as you distract your kids for 10 minutes while you do it. They're based in convenient locations including supermarkets, newsagents and train stations. Plus they're often open late and on Sundays. When play time is over, the toy is not too big and bulky, so we just pop it in the corner of the room until the girls are ready to play with it again in the morning. It’s perfect for small nurseries and playrooms. Key features Unicorns are soaring in popularity right now, and even our toddler is crazy about them! For little ones who love Unicorns, the Clementoni 3-in-1 ride on Unicorn is an amazing toy and it has been a huge hit in our house. When we were invited to put the new Baby Clementoni Interactive Ride on Unicorn to the test, I knew straight away that Neve was going to be a fan, and couldn’t wait for it to arrive!

OUR THOUGHTS

The electronic mane teaches kids their ABCs, numbers and colours, plus a few Spanish words if you fancy changing the language! The girls loved the realistic horse noises. My verdict I also really like the fact that the unicorn’s horn is squishy as this adds another element in. Children can touch and feel the soft fabric. The other positive to it being soft is that it wont take anyone’s eyes out. Both of my children play rough and Alby has taken to trying to go after Ava on it. So I’m glad I don’t have to worry about him poking her with the horn.

Items that are not available in store will take 3-5 working days (excluding weekends and bank holidays) to be delivered to your nominated store. All of these sounds are available in either English or Spanish – just switch between language modes on the side of the unicorn to access the version you want. My toddler manages to get up to quite a decent speed while zipping around our living room on it, but it’s a really stable toy so I don’t worry about her at all. A cute multi-activity armchair and interactive music for endless fun! The child can play, relax and sing by learning new words, numbers and colors. Equipped with musical instruments such as drums, maracas and piano, but also a mini console with touch buttons and bright screen. The volume of the sounds is not too loud, which from a parents point of view is always a positive! As the buttons are pressed, the little star on the unicorn’s face lights up. The main body of the horse is intact in the box, but you need to attach the wheels, which requires a little bit of strength but I managed quite easily on my own.

I love the bright pinks and blues that decorate the unicorn, it really is very inviting to kids and has that unicorn magic about it! Gathers information for our own, first party analytics tool about how our services are used. A collection of internal metrics for user activity, used to improve user experience. What I didn’t realise to start with is that you can have the sounds on the activity centre in both English and Spanish. I did think I was going a little crazy when I first heard it. Ava being that bit older than Alby does benefit from this feature. I have heard her chatting away and saying the odd Spanish word. Which she would have only learnt from the Unicorn. It’s not all about being a ride-on though, Violet is really into animals at the moment and loves caring for her unicorn like it’s a pet. She hasn’t quite mastered the word ‘unicorn’ so always says ‘Horsie, Horsie’ (which sounds like Haa-hee, haa-hee) as she plays, pretends to brush and wash her unicorn. It’s very cute. The fact that it has dual function plus the interactive element makes it a great Christmas idea for kids. The fact that it’s a unicorn is the icing on the Christmas cake!
