Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. Founder Ken Grossman began dabbling in homebrewing as a teenager in 1969. According to Dogfish Head, they named this beer “Shelter Pale Ale” because they “think of a shelter as being a place you come home to.” Cornwall has a great reputation for producing some of the best ales in the country.
