About this deal

Comfort control settings can be adjusted to ensure maximum user comfort. The default setting is 3 (1 is soft and 5 is firm). Heavyweight Sleepers– Heavy side sleepers may want to consider a firmer bed because memory foam in the Apollo mattress is likely too soft to keep the body aligned. If you’re in the market for a memory foam mattress that sleeps cool, the Apollo could be a fantastic fit. Not only does it feature all the great sinkage, body-contouring, and pressure relief of the popular material, but it does so without overheating at night. Apollo is a single-firmness mattress made up of five layers of foam and steel coils. Each layer has unique qualities which combine to create the distinctive comfort and performance of the mattress:

The Apollo II pump automatically detects which compatible dynamic surface has been connected and will adjust the pressure setting accordingly. Fourth layer: 1 inch of high-density support foam. This is the first of two similar base layers that Apollo uses to provide consistent support across the bed. This limits sinkage to the ideal depth – enough to accommodate the needs of side sleepers and curvier body types, but not so much that it puts a strain on muscles or affects proper spinal alignment. Foam density: 1.8 lbs/ft 3. Apollo offers a 15-year warranty on each mattress. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship or manufacturing. The warranty is very particular about which types of defects are covered. Your warranty may be void if the mattress has spills, stains, cuts, or tears on the cover or the foam inside. If you use the Apollo mattress without a compatible frame, it can also void the warranty. After rolling around on this bed, I decided to give it a 6/10 on the firmness scale. When compared to the industry standard of 6.5 for medium firmness, it’s clear that this bed is definitely on the softer side.

The Wired Floor+ Alertamatcan be connectedto a nurse call system with a 3 metre cable provided for centralised activation, or used on its own, independent of a nurse call system to give localised alerts through the Alerta Alarm Monitor (sold separately). There’s also not a lot of bounce to this bed, so combo sleepers in need of high mobility may want to look elsewhere. The next layer uses open-cell memory foam to produce better airflow. Then, finally, we come to the micro-coil layer. The micro coils allow for more airflow throughout the core of the mattress, reducing any heat build-up from reaching the lowest levels of the mattress. As a result, even the deepest levels of this mattress will be cooler. These coils even help move the cooler air up to you, reducing the temperature at the surface of the mattress. Contour – Up next, you’ll find yet another layer of memory foam. This material has a similar feel to the one above it, but has swapped out the copper infusion for an open-cell design, which helps to promote extra airflow throughout the bed. I think folks who have traditionally avoided memory foam because of its tendency to trap heat could find a lot to love in these cooling layers! The Apollo II mattress features a CPR dial at the footend, which allows for rapid deflation and is easy to operate in the event of an emergency. It is positioned flush against the mattress to reduce risk of accidental operation or damage and is strategically located to allow ease of access.

First layer: 2 inches of high-density CopperGel™ memory foam. This cushioning top layer is infused with two cooling agents – micro gel beads and antimicrobial copper. It contributes to the immediate pressure relief and slow body contouring you experience as you lie down on the mattress. Foam density: 3.6 lbs/ft 3. CLP - Constant Low Pressure providing immersion therapy support surface below capillary closure providing increased comfort As with any feel factor, firmness is subjective, and can change a lot depending on one’s body size, shape, and weight. So, my read of this bed’s firmness could differ from your own. For reference, I’m about 5’10”, 190 pounds. and prefer to sleep on my stomach. The Apollo has a slightly softer feel Automatic Pressure Control System monitors and adjusts the mattress pressure to maintain pressures at the set level. Average Weight Sleepers– Average-weight side sleepers should experience a deeper hug as the top memory foam layer allows more sinkage, especially for those closer to 230 pounds.Nothing does pressure relief as well as memory foam, so it’s no surprise this bed is a great option for those with pressure buildup. Pressure tends to build up in the hips, shoulders, and knees, depending on your preferred sleeping position. The Apollo mattress does a good job of alleviating the pressure by cushioning these areas, offering a gentle contour to a deep hug, depending on your body weight. An anti-fungal agent is encapsulated in the covers to help control microbial deterioration. They feature a white inner substrate to assist in identifying signs of cover damage and strike-through. Additionally, the Apollo II mattress bottom cover includes a cable management system to safely route the power cable and reduce the risk of a trip hazard. Lightweight Sleepers– Lightweight side sleepers should experience a nice contour around pressure points, although some may prefer an even softer bed that allows more sinkage in the hips, shoulders, and knees.
