Let those that are living what you aspire to inspire your heart. As you bless them you simply open yourself to be available to that level of goodness manifesting in your life. Maybe Bran knew along, but we’ll never know that. My guess is he did, because in the end everything will be fine. When we’re constantly being flooded with other people’s highlight reels, we start to feel like our own accomplishments aren’t enough. They are. I’ve been running a startup for the last two years, and it has been among the most humbling and hardest things I’ve ever done.

For me, I know that reminding myself that I am exactly where I need to, I need to be exactly where I am feels liberating and empowering regardless of how much I itch. Releasing my resistance to what I am experiencing and opening to the opportunities to learn and grow feels nurturing and much more compassionate than believing that my body is betraying me. My clarifying question that I have been asking for months, what is the most self-compassionate thing I can do continues to be my guiding light. We get older. Careers change. We move homes. We fall in love multiple times. Priorities and goals shift. Bring awareness to the effects of how you may cling to what once was or what is expected to be and how current levels of happiness fluctuate. Let go of lofty expectations, perceived outcomes, and a fixed mindset to open the doors for embracing change. Who knows, you may be surprised as to what you discover? 6) Forgiveness. Be kind.So, how do we come to be more at ease,as Jon Kabat-Zinn says 'with the full catastrophe' of our lives and all the varied circumstances and twists and turns that surround us - and still know that wherever we are, is exactly where we should be? This very basic practice teaches us patience, strengthens our equanimity (the ability to not interfere with -but rather be with whatever arises), builds our concentration power and focus, and - certainly in my own experience - over time -teaches us about compassion and humility. Trust the electrical surge of connection, positivity and happiness the sensation brings to your state of being. This feeling is directly linked to emitting energy. Energy produced triggers a chemical release in the body to create thoughts of action. Thoughts conjured will contribute to connection and produce an outcome of desired action. Your intention is a choice to live life in a way that represents your truth and ultimately what you choose create for yourself. Happiness is a choice. 3) Identify obstacles. Embrace friction and detours that show up. This insight and wisdom has been especially poignant and challenging for me to embrace over the last three months as I have been suffering with hives. Itching for most of my waking and sleeping hours has challenged my belief that I am exactly where I need to be since I can barely stand to be in my own skin.

Force Negates The other very important message I took awaywas one that good will always overcome bad or evil, doing the right thing, each and every time, being humble and doing your best for yourself and others will always prevail

Just because you aren’t where you think you should be in your life doesn’t mean you’re not exactly where you are meant to be. We are only gaining—knowledge, wisdom, experience, lessons. Everything we go through teaches us how to survive. Every obstacle helps us learn who we are. Every painful moment breaks us, but builds us. And little by little, we are making it through. Detours can take you to an undesirable part of town, a place you will be so glad to get out off before something bad happens. Detours can also take you to a beautiful part of town, places you may have never otherwise seen. What at the surface looked like a disaster at the time (a crippling disease, the loss of a job, the death of a loved one) usually leads to something better. Finally, a more controversial one that cuts both ways: you have no plan. In one sense this should make you completely at ease with where you are because you have no comparative for your current situation. However, this is often tempered by point number two. You have a deeper, unfulfilled ambition and rather than pursuing it, are allowing yourself to be buffeted by the winds of chance. After some incredible experiences abroad, however, the same malaise began to surface, reminiscent of my experiences in London.
