About this deal

The dreamer likely suits me better than the masses, but if you're searching for an inexpensive and readily available daily wear, or an interesting and slightly exotic change-up to add to your rotation, it's worth giving it a go. This opening is rather intense, and you can smell the tobacco notes strongly. The opening then dries down systematically to reveal a warm, drier, woody scent featuring cedar, vetiver, and fir. Wow! Now this is something that I actually regret not purchasing earlier. I guess the reason why I didn't is probably because of youtube hype and I always get disappointed by their cheaper recommendations. This one they got right! There are some comments below asking where to get the original edition. Well unfortunately it's not available anymore. Some are still selling it online but beware of fakes.

Then I got home, made myself a lovely cup of coffee, and sat down to look it up on Fragrantica. And I am SOOO surprised to see, that it is actually ment for men!!Prescriptions must be written on an Authority Prescription Form, and the approval number must be noted on the prescription. Pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has been approved by Medicare Australia (indicated by the presence of the approval number). Blind buy worthy? Why not! If you get this gem for €20~€25 don't waste your time looking for decants.

The longevity of The Dreamer is as immense as the Roman Empire. After twelve hours on my skin is still quite decernable and projects extremely well at about six feet for the first three to four hours. It is to be applied with a light finger or you might find you are overpowering as you pass the innocent bystander. And those other flowers are not very far down in the mix - less far down than the notes-votes here would have it I think ... and there's a decent salty muskiness there also, which isn't listed atall - but as I've said before often isn't, being a fairly default constituent in the main - at least some variety thereof, not necessarily the salty one. There's sort of a fresh laundry quality to it that I don't love. My guess is that it's the lavender interacting with tonka bean. I am generally suspicious of clean-smelling fragrances because I regard their creative ambitions to be quite low. Why give a fragrance a really cool name and bottle design simply to function as a body deoderant? The Dreamer is certainly not the most egregious of clean fresh scents, but I think it could have been something more. To my nose, it's a bit too close to a cleaning product. However, the tobacco (tobacco flower?) Is a nice addition that elevates it away from a terrible air freshener like Nautica Blue. Up from the bottom notes comes the note that most connects me to Rome and that is the fir note which is so reminiscent of the beautiful umbrella pines in the city. Redolent with green resin and wonderfully bright and sharp this note dominates the fragrance from the late middle though the dry down. There is a touch of Tonka bean which is ever so light like the cream on the top of a morning cappuccino. Vetiver and Cedar round down the notes and it all seems like a lazy summers dream under the afternoon sky in Rome. And then you get up, walk there thoughtfully, smell them, and look forward to the small harvest of the weeks now to come. Less than 5-6 sprays is still okay, but mainly it all depends on how you like it. If you are going out to the club, feel free to spray 6 times, if you are going out on a date, then 4 will do just the job. Feel free to test it out, you can’t go wrong with it!

The best tobacco scent combined with flowers (lily, iris and some kind of rose effect) in the heart mixed with soothing juniper! Faboulus! Versace , the creator of the Dreamer cologne, is a well-known distributor of fashionable and luxurious lifestyle products. These comprise jewelry, haute couture, timepieces, and, of course, fragrances. From the moment I first encountered this fragrance, I was greeted by an overwhelming wave of floral and powdery notes. In my personal opinion, The Dreamer possesses a unisex quality, although it leans slightly towards the feminine side than I had initially anticipated. As time passed and the fragrance settled, I detected a pleasant emergence of clean, soapy nuances. My experience was definitely unique, and in a pleasant way. This is a difficult fragrance to review. It is kind of a polarizing scent. My bottle was produced in January 2014, so it is likely this new version, but with a more vintage formula than the newest produced bottles. It has a bit of a sharp opening, and I get a blast of something very green and floral. There is also a spicyness that I quite enjoy. As it dries down it becomes a floral tobacco scent, with a juicy tea note that doesn’t seem to be listed, but that might be the tobacco. I say it is polarizing because at this point the floral and powdery nature of the fragrance can be a little feminine smelling. It has quite a perfumey, powdery smell to it, and has great longevity and projection.I think it’s a great value for money. I think if you like “edgy” florals. I think you should get it. I think for every fragrance you want, you should get a sample size and or a travel size spray to test. But i got this as a blind buy and it ended being my signature. And add to the fact is people don’t really know about this. So you will stand out. It lasted on my boyfriend for about 7 hours and it had moderate sillage on him. He didn't need to re-touch his fragrance until the end of the day and I think that the price and its longevity make it very good value for money. Kind of a plain scent to me (at least for the first hour, see below!). It' s like a much simpler, cruder version of Tommy with some amber sweetener and an impression of tobacco (cedar/tarragon/pepper?).

The flavour lasts up to 9-12 hours on my skin,( although this new version is not exatly the same as the original from 90's but it's pretty close to it!).

That fits yes perfectly to my drummer friend, who has already in January Gebby - hardly that Christmas has passed. Versatility: 8.0 (above average versatility but you may kill somebody if you use it in the Gym or at a beach party) It smells of fresh rolled up tobacco, which is not offensive to most people. But mainly you get amber, lavender (hints of rose and Iris, barely detectable but there), but people who smoked roll ups will detect that tobacco too. Importantly, it is also clean. If you have tried Prada L'homme/Amber/ Amouage reflection, it's that sort of clean in the dry down. As it dries down, I get a bitter, herbal, powdery amber, likely from the interaction with the artemisia, that lasts for several hours. There is an enveloping spicy warmth radiating from this fragrance throughout its rather lengthy life span. This is a beautiful scent that I have not come across through my large collection, and it worth having a bottle just for the beauty of the bottle art. This is a fairly uncommon fragrance, so you won’t smell like everyone else. A classic men’s fragrance born in 1996, it must have been quite the head turner in its time. It’s not for everybody, but it definitely has its fans. I don’t think it is a safe blind buy though, as it can lean a little feminine on certain skin chemistry. If you can, try before you buy. It is a clean, green, powdery, floral, sophisticated scent that will give you many hours of pleasurable wear.
