About this deal

So while the exact math points to Star Wars Legion miniatures being around 1:47 scale, official kits point to 1:48 scale. Both Bandai and Revell sell Star Wars model kits which are at 1:48 scale. They both also sell model kits at 1:52 and 1:53 scale which will also work well with Star Wars Legion. The sliding scale In the standard game mode, the game involves 2 players, alternatingly using squads of troops, characters, or vehicles to maneuver and battle on a 6 foot by 3 foot table. Each unit has an assigned point value, and within a general framework, players have the flexibility to field very different armies even at the 800 point standard level. Armies generally consist of 20-50 models, but can be higher or lower depending on unit choices. The models come unassembled and unpainted, which allows players to show off their hobby skills and build their own truly customized force. Nothing can intimidate the Rebels like the pure size and scope of massive AT-ST walkers. A standard Star Wars: Legion army limits your forces to two heavy units, and hulking vehicles like the AT-ST will become the centerpiece of your forces. Legion is a brilliant addition to FFG’s vast array of Star Wars games. It is completely different from its cousin game, Imperial Assault. Whilst Assault is more concerned with a few talented heroes, fighting in small skirmishes against Imperial troops, and is very much a ‘dungeon-delving’ game, Legion takes the warfare aspect of the Star Wars universe to an epic scale.

points. It’s not cheap. What did you expect for something that towers over the battlefield? I mean, the thing is like, as tall as my cat. Coming in at a base cost of 195 points, a single AT-ST takes up almost a quarter of your full allotment of 800 points in a standard game. But what it gives you in return is immeasurable power and durability. Between the highest health in the game and its heavily armored shell, even the most persistent Rebels will be hard-pressed to deal lasting damage to the behemoth without heavy artillery. This two-player miniatures game by Fantasy Flight Games (FFG) is their first foray into the ground combat of the Star Wars universe. Unlike the small skirmishes found in its predecessor game, Imperial Assault, Star Wars Legion gives you a cinematic feel, and full squads appear, ready for battle, alongside vehicles such as speeder bikes, AT-RT’s and AT-ST’s.

Defense

the first act sees both players racing toward the downed AT-ST to extract this crucial information before it can fall into enemy hands. But as Movement in Star WarsLegion is fast and organic as you send your troopers marching forward. Every unit has a speed which determines the jointed movement tool that you’ll use to move that unit. You simply align the movement tool with the base of the unit leader and move it to the end of the movement tool. From that, we can find out that the average eye height from the ground of a 75th percentile male is 1678mm. Weak point 1: Rear. Don’t get flanked. Usually this is pretty easy to prevent, unless you are facing a T-47 that you somehow haven’t killed yet before it gets behind you.

And of course, perhaps the most entertaining way you can customize your army is by painting and customizing your miniatures! All Star WarsLegion minis come unpainted, so after you assemble your army, you’ll be able to paint your miniatures into something that only you could have created. Although you don’t need to paint your miniatures, many players find it more enjoyable to play with a painted army, and even if you’ve never painted an army of miniatures before, Star WarsLegion is the perfect introduction to the hobby. With an aim token, you have about a 68% chance to do at least 3 wounds to an AT-RT; without an aim token, that drops to 46%. You probably aren’t going to hit that resilience threshold in one shot, but you will get pretty darn close. Being that Fantasy Flight Games (the company behind Star Wars Legion) won’t tell us the exact scale that they work to. It is very much up to us as fans of Star Wars Legion to work out the correct scale to print our miniatures, landscape and props. He worked out that the average height of a Stormtrooper is 5’11”. This means that a Stormtrooper falls into the category of a 75th percentile male. What scale are Star Wars Legion miniatures?

So with a little maths, we can divide the actual eye height of a Stormtrooper (1678mm) by the eye height of the mini (35.7mm) and this will give us the rough scale of the minis themselves.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. I included the 88 by itself at the bottom there, just for posterity. You generally don’t want to be splitting fire. In theory you could hand out an extra suppression token; if you are firing at two different targets out of cover and don’t particularly want to murder one of them, there really isn’t a downside. You only have a 9% chance to completely whiff with the three dice, so you have a pretty good shot to get that extra suppression down. Here are the probability charts for wounds to an AT-RT with just the MS-4, with and without an aim token: The Imperial All Terrain Scout Transport is a formidable war machine, cutting through Rebel lines as it stomps across the battlefields of the Galactic Civil War. Despite their appearance, however, these intimidating assault vehicles aren’t invincible. With the Downed AT-ST Battlefield Expansion, you can see find out firsthand what happens when one of these towering terrors comes crashing down. One cautionary note which we will cover further in defense, which applies particularly to the DW-3 AT-ST: watch out for Luke. If you are close to your opponent, then they are close to you. Luke with Son of Skywalker has a pretty decent chance to take an AT-ST to it’s resilience threshold in one shot. AT-ST Mortar Launcher

Moving, as the name suggests, allows you to cross the battlefield with your units. The game comes with three movement tools, and each unit has a specific movement range varying from 1-3. When moving a trooper squadron you move the unit’s leader the designated range, then bring all his fellow troops into cohesion. Vehicle movement is slightly different, in that the tool clips into place with the front base of the vehicle, and vehicles can also pivot and reverse. So how much damage are we actually talking with a Weiss AT-ST firing all of its weapons? Here are the wounds by target tables. This excludes the Mortar Launcher, as it is impossible to get the Mortar into the same pool as all three of the other hardpoint upgrades due to the range restrictions. Between the beautiful downed AT-ST miniature itself and six new battle cards, the Downed AT-ST Battlefield Expansion alters the landscape of your games of Star Wars: Legion while opening up an epic new way to play. Into the Breach So the sliding scale steps in to help out with this issue. It works by squeezing the scale of objects the larger they are. For example, small objects and vehicles that are either nearby miniatures or used by them will stay at the correct scale of 1:48. This makes them 100% scale as it is true to scale compared to the minis.
