About this deal

La’an comes to see the surviving child Oriana; she has a nice moment helping her cope with the loss of her parents. She reads a letter to her brother, as a demonstration of closure and coping for the girl.

Geez, not a month goes by that I’m not adding to my blu and dvd collection. Have been buying 4K UHD disks when a deal happens, as I have a player but not a TV capable of displaying, as a way of future-proofing on important films that I know I’ll always revisit and I think will benefit from the visual upgrade. PIKE’S PEAK — Anson Mount takes fans through his journey as Captain Christopher Pike in the first season of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, providing a glimpse into his portrayal with intimate footage throughout the season. My computer is my main entertainment center for watching movies, TV DVD’s and Blu-Rays. Older Blu-Rays work just fine as I have tried a few to verify them. Ghosts of Illyria – The Enterprise encounters a contagion that ravages the ship; one by one, the entire crew is incapacitated except for Number One, Una Chin-Riley, who must now confront a secret she’s been hiding as she races to find a cure. left and discs two and three in offset hubs on the right. The inner print is a two-panel spread that features another alien landscape with the same color

Deleted Scenes– A few minutes’ worth from episodes “Ghosts of Illyria” and “Children of the Comet.” Pike’s Peek– Anson Mount takes fans through his journey as Captain Christopher Pike in the first season of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, providing a glimpse into his portrayal with intimate footage throughout the season. I find it’s difficult to see it as a tenable economic model. It seems to have been built into audiovisual entertainment and broadcasting from go through. The market power of the major firms seems to enable perpetual free riding off individuals.

Thanks for the encouragement, but. finances are just insanely tight — nothing new there! — shoot, I didn’t even get a smartphone till about 11 months ago, and we’re still clinging to a landline so my wife has some way of calling out in an emergency. I spend probably at least 15% of my ‘writing time’ just pitching to new possible outlets, but honestly, that hasn’t netted me anything at all in the last six years (that is counting the places that keep telling me that I am on their list for future assignments … there are four of those that have still never come through with anything, though they want to hear new pitches all the time.) Deleted Scenes– The second disc just gives us some more deleted scenes from episodes “Lift Us Where Suffering Cannot Reach” and “The Elysian Kingdom” Windows Media Player won’t even attempt to play it and VCL Media player won’t play it, just keeps giving errors.

Pike’s Peak (17 minutes) – Anson Mount takes fans through his journey as Captain Christopher Pike in the first season of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, providing a peek (get it?) into his portrayal with intimate footage throughout the season. This includes mobile phone camera personal logs of Anson’s experiences during his quarantine to wait before production of SNW season 1, and then preparing for the season, including practicing riding horses, their first day on the bridge set, and more. A particularly touching moment comes when Mount is standing on the Enterprise bridge set reading a lovely note from Mike Gold of NASA congratulating the cast and crew on the beginning of filming. Filling out the rest of the trimmed material is nearly eleven minutes from “All Those Who Wander,” and it’s a very mixed bag. Some of it — especially the slower, more combative sequence of arguments before the away team comes up with a plan to fight the Gorn — was cut for obvious reasons: it’s not very good, and feels a bit disjointed. Uhura comes home to her quarters and her roommates ask her if anything weird is going on since she’s up on the bridge she must know, she just wants to go to bed.
