About this deal

The piglets also start from whitish-red when they walk out from the bushes to flashing completely white when they run over Scooby and Shaggy.

The Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated episode The Night the Clown Cried, makes a reference to Mano Tiki Tia. Unlike A Tiki Scare is No Fair, this version did not happen in Hawaii, but the gang's hometown of Crystal Cove. The Witch Doctor who appears in the Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! Season 2 intro also reuses the moans of Frankenstein from the episode A Gaggle of Galloping Ghosts as well. Lt. Tomoro, in his old man disguise, seems to enjoy scaring the kids. Since he's supposed to be innocent, this could only be to make him look more suspicious to the audience. Maybe he thought he was doing it for their own good? Simms (as the Witch Doctor) does not appear to be very intelligent or perceptive (especially strange for a journalist/tour guide), as he falls for Velma, Shaggy and Scooby's disguises, and is also easily scared by Shaggy and Scooby covered in leaves.Disguises: Shaggy, Velma, and Scooby as Tarzan, Jane and Cheeta, respectively; Scooby as hula dancer. The Indian witch doctor warns the gang that they will "meet the fate of Spanish conquistadores" if they do not leave. Spanish conquistador Francisco Vázquez de Coronado explored the southwestern United States between 1540 and 1542; he was among the first Europeans to view the Grand Canyon. After the mob captures Scooby by mistake, Squire Marley directs them toward the witchcraft museum. Why would any of the items there actually be functional if it's intended to be a museum?

The Pineapple Parlor is conspicuously empty of other customers, despite there being one other car outside besides the Mystery Machine (although this could possibly be a staff vehicle). As the gang stood on the porch after arriving at Arlene's house, Daphne's tights are missing in the group shot.In the close-up shot of Lt. Tomoro telling the gang he'll take care of their last day, he's given much more detail, but looks a lot older. He also looks different at the party. Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! is a classic American animated television series that premiered in 1969. The show follows the adventures of a group of curious teenagers, Fred, Daphne, Velma, Shaggy, and their talking Great Dane, Scooby-Doo, who is the star of the show. They travel in their psychedelic van, the Mystery Machine, and solve mysteries involving supposedly supernatural creatures and villains. Shortly after the bats, as the gang enters the old Indian village, Daphne and Fred are about to go into a room (right before they see the witch doctor and Daphne falls through a trapdoor). Look closely and one part, one of the lavender strips on Daphne's skirt is missing. Shaggy puts a twist on the " Scooby-Doo, where are you?" catchphrase (which he had already said beforehand) by instead asking rhetorically, "Scooby-Doo, where were you?" when he finds him hiding in a drum case. Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo: Blue Scarab | Night Ghoul | Alien | Neon Phantom | Snake Demon | Sky Skeleton | Dragon Beast | Devil Bear | Sea Beast | Lady Vampire of the Bay | Star Creature | Shadow Creature | Ghost of Jeremiah Pratt | Great Haldane | Minotaur | Carl and Tony

The gang had apparently been given the suit as a keepsake, but when they were forbade to pursue anymore mysteries after nabbing the wrong guy, this necessitated to remove all trace of their past mysteries, which included having a garage sale of selling off the Witch Doctor mask along with other mementos. [1] Appearances [ ] Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!: The Complete Third Season DVD set released by Warner Home Video on April 10, 2007. This is the second episode, after Decoy for a Dognapper, to a have a witch doctor as the primary villain.

This episode includes examples of the following tropes:

The lining around the top of Scooby's collar turns brown a couple of times as Shaggy tells Mr. Simms about the non-part of the tour the rest of the gang want to go to and how there won't be a luau there.

When Scooby and Shaggy use the house with the trap wall, the wall in front of the camera is missing. After Fred takes note of the symbol imprinted on Milissa's grave, the camera pans to Shaggy and Scooby, who were last running into the cemetery after Fred, Daphne, and Velma. However, there are two things that weren't there before. First, Scooby is holding a broom, which isn't seen until now, and the second is Gar, the cemetery's caretaker, who has seemingly appeared out of nowhere. Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!: The Complete Series DVD set released by Warner Home Video on November 13, 2012. Straight Outta Nowhere: Scooby-Doo! Meets Courage the Cowardly Dog (Home Media) DVD released by Warner Home Video on September 15, 2021.

When the poodle is dognapped, it is broad daylight, but by the time Scooby gets to the beach, the sky is dark; it couldn't have taken him that long. It seems to be animation mistake, as this was also the case in A Clue for Scooby Doo, which made the gang look like they went in the evening (although in the earlier case, it's possible they went for a night visit to the beach).
