About this deal

Store the medicine in a closed container at room temperature, away from heat, moisture, and direct light. Keep from freezing.

First, soak the corn, callus, or wart in warm water for about 5 minutes to soften the treatment area. Dry thoroughly. Your doctor may direct you to use a pumice stone, callus file, or emery board to carefully remove the top dead layers of skin after soaking and before applying the medication. This dead skin removal is only to help the medication work better. Do not try to rub the wart or callus off. For adults, children and the elderly: Bazuka Extra Strength Gel should be applied once daily. The gel should be applied once every night. Treatment can take several weeks for resistant lesions to disappear and it is necessary to persevere with the treatment. Young children may be at increased risk of unwanted effects because of increased absorption of salicylic acid through the skin. Also, young children may be more likely to get skin irritation from salicylic acid. Salicylic acid should not be applied to large areas of the body, used for long periods of time, or used under occlusive dressing (air-tight covering, such as kitchen plastic wrap) in children. Use of salicylic acid topical in children younger than 2 years of age is not recommended. Geriatric Appropriate studies performed to date have not demonstrated geriatric-specific problems that would limit the usefulness of salicylic acid topical in the elderly. However, elderly patients are more likely to have age-related blood vessel disease, which may require caution in patients receiving salicylic acid topical. Breast Feeding

The formulation offers the highest concentration of salicylic acid commensurate with presenting it in a convenient collapsible aluminium tube fitted with a special applicator nozzle, allowing it to be dispensed precisely to the affected area(s). This minimises the spread of the preparation onto the surrounding healthy skin, which could otherwise lead to inflammation, irritation and poor patient compliance. Unless your hands are being treated, wash them immediately after applying this medicine to remove any medicine that may be on them. Dosing Slight burning, skin redness, and peeling may occur. These effects are expected. If any of these effects worsen, tell your doctor or pharmacist promptly. It is very important that you use preparations strictly as directed on the label. Do not use more of it, do not use it more often, and do not use it for a longer time than recommended. In clinical use, its application will, of course, be restricted to the hyperkeratotic lesions. Salicylic acid poisoning (overdose) with topical preparations is rare.
