If the NIKE Stefan Janoski G looks familiar, it’s because this was the shoe of choice for Tony Finau during the 2020-2021 PGA TOUR season. The shoe itself is the golf variant of NIKE’s extremely popular skateboarding shoe, the NIKE SB Stefan Janoski. I can’t comfortably say this shoe is going to be a great performer but if you’re the type of person who is a fan of golf shoes that don’t look like golf shoes, this is an easy choice to recommend. As expected, we found the Nike Janoski G Tour to be very similar to the original Janoski G. However, the are a couple of big differences. The most obvious difference is the spiked traction system, which not only grips much better, but feels more stable during the swing. The Janoski G Tour also comes with a 2 year waterproof warranty instead of a 1 year warranty. Kudos to Nike for yet another unique, stylish design! The Nike Janoski G Tour golf shoe is all about fashion, and for this it exceeded our expectations. It's pretty much a skate shoe on the outside, but a golf shoe on the inside. Because of its nature, the Janoski G Tour doesn't offer much support in the uppers, as its low-cut collar kind of takes away that support. What we're trying to say is that it would be really, really difficult to create a golf shoe like this one that also offered outstanding golf-specific performance.
