Although he wants other people to be happy, in the books, he was nearly always happy in the series. He tends to hide his other emotions (sadness, fear, anger, etc.) behind his grin. Mr. Cheeky was selected as the winning entry, submitted by then-eight-year-old Gemma Almond.
