I guess thats why this half-assed emulation toy effort has only the "Official Nintendo Seal" on it and not the " Seal of QUALITY". If Mario perfected the side-scroller, then the Ice Climbers were the masters of the upwards level design. It’s a simple premise, just make it to the top of the mountain of each level without dying. And yet, it does enough to make you want to continue playing, especially with another player.

Nintendo’s been emulating most of these games in some form or another for years, so it's no surprise that the SNES Classic MIni offers a pretty perfect recreation of them. It served its purpose which was got the brand on people’s minds while they got the switch on stable ground. Same with the recent game and watch. These things are meant to be flash pan marketing. Not an actual sales arm. Don’t get me wrong I still want a n64 version but I won’t be bothered if they don’t make one. But having to trail HDMI and power cables across your room isn’t a great look, and it’s something that you shouldn’t have to do with a piece of hardware like this, so buyer beware. Boot up the SNES Mini and you're greeted with the same fantastic retro-styled user interface as the NES Mini has. Then there are the epic multiplayer titles like Super Smash Bros., Goldeneye, 1080 Snowboarding; the list goes on and on.
