I love meals that you can throw together and bake. It’s an all in one meal with very little prep work and it’s good for you! Many people think that Reynolds oven bags are just for turkey – but they can make so many more dinners. Simple to use, just place a bag seam-side up on your roasting tin and put your food and any marinades or sauces in the centre. Carefully roll up the end of the bag to seal, and cook in the oven at up to 220°C – your food will come out beautifully tender and moist, with all the flavour from the juices retained. Just cut open the bag to remove your food. Soak completely covered in water for 24 hours before cooking. Drain. Add 2 cups of fresh water or broth to oven bag. It sounds simple and it was. I was trying out my new Look Oven Bags for Roasting and I wasn't disappointed.

I have a local grocery store that prints hardly anything on their bags. On a day when I can leave the windows open, I put a few of their bags in a 300 degree oven for a "precook" to get some of the paper smell out. Yes, baking paper does have a smell to it. Same for the seasonings and dressing you can use whatever you like or have in hand. this blend of veggies and seasoning I used here is my to-go in my household that turns out very delicious every time. Add water to the bag as directed by the cooking times chart. Season beef with 1 teaspoon dried thyme and ½ teaspoon pepper, or as directed by the recipe. Beware of escaping steam when opening bag. Handle carefully to avoid scalding. Not suitable for microwave cooking. Always wash hands, all surfaces and utensils after handling raw poultry. To avoid danger of suffocation, keep this wrapper away from babies and small children.
