Spray onto a microfiber or foam applicator. You might get away with applying direct to the panel on a paler colour vehicle on a cooler day but applying via a microfiber applicator is so easy just don't take the risk. This can be seen as a "darkening effect" BUT we are not actually changing the color of the basecoat and that's easy to understand why and that's because it's UNDER the clearcoat.
