Steel wires are galvanised before welding, then the mesh is hot-dipped again to create the second layer of galvanisation. x 13mm hole lightweight: Often used for bird protection and is the most popular hole size for fruit cages. Our range of galvanized welded wire mesh is the perfect choice for outdoor fencing applications. The galvanized finish protects the mesh from rusting in all weather conditions. The tall 1.8m is ideal for keeping otters out of fisheries. If this is what you need then the top 30cm (12″) should be bent outwards, it will fold along one of the rows quite easily. This will stop them climbing over.

Both our galvanised and PVC-coated wire mesh rolls are treated and protected against rust and corrosion for a long life outdoors. The wire is hot-dipped galvanised before welding to ensure complete coverage and protection, with the PVC-coated option being galvanised and then coated in a smooth green plastic. Installation of the welded wire mesh fencing is a simple process. The steel mesh should be fixed the treated timber posts (rounded, or square sawn) using galvanised wire u-nails / staples. Fencing posts need to be no more than 2m apart for a solid fence. We advise that all welded wire mesh should be installed with a galvanised fencing line wire The straining line wire can be tensioned and will ensure that the fence remains taut at its top. Further straining line wires can be installed for higher fences. Weld mesh can also be fixed to wooden post and rail fencing, frames and existing chain link fencing using nylon ties or hog-rings. Heavy gauge weld mesh is manufactured from steel and hot-dipped galvanised in zinc. Welded wire mesh is easy to install and will make a long lasting permanent fencing. The mesh can be fixed to machine rounded, rounded or square sawn fencing posts using galvanised steel u-nails.
