The nice thing about using TiviMate is that you can record to internal storage and I had no problems doing that. Yes, it is IR technology but it works extremely well. As long as your box and remote are within the same area, you don’t need to actually point the remote control like you usually do with IR. If you want to break free from the big tech companies and their streaming systems, this device is for you. They’ve future-proofed it in many areas and their continual updates should keep it running at peak performance for a long time to come. If you’re not using an IPTV service that comes with M3U or Xtream Codes setup, this device isn’t for you. Both the actual box and remote are specifically designed to be used in conjunction with the integrated MYTVOnline3 IPTV application.
Sometimes it’s difficult seeing exactly which service you are using because they don’t do a great job of displaying the name of the service on the channel lists.
