A similar thing could also be said of the John Cena focused Showcase mode, which is great in terms of the real life footage and how it transitions into the game, but its objective-heavy focus can occasionally grow tiresome at times as it did last year. On the whole though, we're really happy with WWE 2K23's selection of game modes, which are guaranteed to keep us busy for potentially hundreds of hours.

Speaking of fluidity, 2K has really pulled off some great work when it comes to the menu design and speedier loading times in WWE 2K23 (MyRise aside), giving the game a true AAA quality feel. This obviously extends to the gameplay presentation too, where the graphical enhancements of last year have been bolstered once again. This is especially evident in entrances, where the character models, video trons, arena designs and lighting are all given a spotlight... you'd be forgiven for getting a few goosebumps from time to time during some of these sequences! Incredibly realistic graphics, animations, camera angles, and lighting, plus accessible controls and a new optional pinning mechanic will add to the highly immersive experience. If you played WWE 2K22 and loved it, you’ll, no doubt, play WWE 2K23 and go nuts about it. Okay, maybe not as much, but the effort would still be greatly appreciated, thanks to the developers placing their faith in their audience’s thoughts and views. It’s no secret that the strength of WWE games lies in their game modes. Returning to the ring has its perks and adrenaline rush, but almost all other pro-wrestlers like Fire Pro and No Mercy will guarantee a good time in the ring. What sets WWE apart, though, is the stellar modes it offers and the consequent renovations that were done to elevate the experience further. WWE 2K23 is the latest installment in the long-running series of professional wrestling video games. Developed by 2K Games, features an extensive roster of wrestlers from current WWE and legends, as well as a wide variety of match types and game modes. Here’s a WWE 2K23 review to help you decide. The Wheels on the Bus Although it’s a good initiative, MyRISE, even from previous entries, needs much work to compete with today’s story modes. The voice acting is wanting, and the dialogue can drag on for longer than a while. You at least get distracted by the option to make choices that affect the story’s outcome. However, it’s still insufficient to call it the main spectacle story. With MyGM, take the reins of a weekly show and compete against rival general managers for brand supremacy. Now featuring more GMs to choose from, additional show options, multiple seasons, expanded match cards, and more match types for up to 4 players.
