companies pay to use the mill, allowing Oseph to keep an eye on his competition. The constant noise of the wheel’s grinding and churning competes with the whine of the saws and the clatter of the loading ramp. At night, the busywork of the mill can be heard in the town below. With a fancy flourish of a short sword, a broken piece of pottery, a ray as frosty as my 7th grade math teacher; Sansaárë, Leo and Ness eliminate 2 of the 3 remaining giant rats! Otari’s largest temple is built at the town’s westernmost edge, atop an upraised shelf that’s nevertheless far below the clifftop. The library’s position allows it to catch the rays of the rising sun, which transform its central dome into a brilliantly glowing testament to the sun goddess Sarenrae—at least when the sky is clear. While principally dedicated to Sarenrae, the Dawnflower Library welcomes all non-evil faiths. The building’s two wings contain shrines, and the center houses a wide range

My goodness! Such brave young heroes! Yes, of course, if it is just a stray then by all means save it. We're all pretty new to pf2e, though half the party has played tabletop since 3.5e, myself going the pf1e route and two of the group having spent their time with 4e. The other two have only played 5e, one for three years and the other for six. I ran a three shot pf2e adventure, but it was a bit rough since I hadn't fully delved into the system yet. Tokens for each encounter are all pre-placed in starting locations on the map. You can edit these on the fly. All maps are designed for for FoundryVTT - with walls, doors and windows set up. If you find a mistake, let me know. Troubles in Otari is a deluxe adventure for 4th-level characters written by Jason Keeley, Lyz Liddell, and Ron Lundeen.

While this is only intended to be something done during the holidays as absences make continuing our 5e game hard, I want to make sure I have a good place to try to continue from should my group decide they want a bit more time with the system or for it to be a side thing. Word has begun to spread around Otari that there’s a problem down at the Otari Fishery. Some are saying that some sort of beast is lurking in the basement, feeding on the stores of salted fish. Folks are worried that whatever is eating the fish might get hungry enough to eat the fishers next!

She turns to the gathering crowd, drawing and flourishing her blade. "Is some assistance from passionate amateurs! We're your service to investigate all growling that doesn't come from a hungry, fishless belly. We have but one condition: if the monster be not a true monster, but rather a wild beast that is simply out of its proper context, we request the right to return it to its natural habitat, wherever that may be." Tannakin did you just sneak that Aid Diplomacy roll in there for One for All or did I not see it? Probably the latter! The Frightened giant rat goes down with the thrust (and quite a bit of assistance) of the short sword!

Instead, she grins at the townsfolk as she swaggers in, her hand on the hilt of her real-life rapier. "Make way, good people, we've got a delegation that speaks draconic here to negotiate with the ferocious dragon!" Gathering places are at the heart of every settlement, and quite a few adventuring parties first meet up in a tavern. Now, the DM had a big error after this, completely forgetting chapter 2, so we went straight to chapter 3 at lvl 3. The kobolds dealt a bit of damage before we killed one and convinced the rest to scram. The owlbears beat on the rogue a ton, downing him once, while I managed to only land a single hit the whole fight using my flurry of blows. Our sorcerer was the MVP with constant acid arrows. Each individual adventure in 3 separate addons which can be added to your existing Roll20 campaigns! This includes: Chapter 1: Fishing for Adventure, Chapter 2: The Leadbuster Lads, and Chapter 3: Under a Three-Eyed Gaze

As such, I would guess Otari will be like Etran's Folly or Kassen or, for that matter, Sandpoint or Falcon's Hollow the first time we met them: a town no one's ever heard of before where an adventure is now being set. I don't believe Paizo requires you to own Burnt Offerings or Hollow's Last Hope to run any of the later adventures set in the same towns; they've reprinted the information you need for the module. The primary smithy in town specializes in crafting saws, axes, and other tools used in the lumber trade, but the skilled smiths here also produce quality armor, shields, and weapons. The owner of Blades for Glades is a misanthropic man named Carman Rajani, who’s as happy to sell a sword to split an orc as a hatchet to fell a tree. He’s descended from one of Otari’s founders and believes himself entitled to better treatment from the townspeople than his surly demeanor earns him. Troubles in Otari's three adventures, written by Jason Keeley, Lyz Liddell, and Ron Lundeen, start at 2nd level and take your heroes to 4th level and beyond as they venture further into the nearby wilderness and face fearsome foes lurking all too close to home! About This Content Pathfinder 2 RPG - Pathfinder Adventure: Troubles in Otari Onward to adventure! The market’s owner is the dour, humorless Keeleno Lathenar. Keeleno pays handsomely for wolf pelts, as a wolf-like monster slew his wife years ago, and he hopes to one day acquire the skin of her killer.

The other cord is a much longer coil. As she unloops it from its holder, she braces against a moderate weight and starts playing out the rope. Tannakin is delighted by their guest and his archaic speech and funny accent (though she's traveled enough not to reveal the latter). "You talk like an old book, Leo! I shall try to speak to thee in thine own tongue, traveler from ye First Worlde..." She laughs at the effort of trying to keep up the old-fashioned speech. The stairs leading into the basement of the Otari Fishery creak with age as you make your way downstairs to find the beast that has been eating all the fish. In the center of the room, between stone pillars holding up the fishery overhead, are barrels filled with salted fish. Two of these barrels have been smashed open, spilling their contents on the floor. In the east wall is a large hole, opening into darkness.

Not sure who the 'he' is that smells of cheap wine - Nokham or the husband. I'll go with the latter. Ness wrinkled her nose as the smell of cheap wine wafted from the granny's man. Even for all his wife's complaining, the man had been seen playing cards at the Fishery.High on the cliff above the Dawnflower Library, the Otari Graveyard holds crumbling mausoleums and groves of leafless trees. Few enter this ancient cemetery other than the acolytes who tend it, as it’s hard to reach even though it looms over the town. Rumors of undead roaming the cemetery at night persist among Otari’s most superstitious townspeople. Troubles in Otari, a Pathfinder Adventure by Jason Keeley, Lyz Liddell, and Ron Lundeen, was released on December 9, 2020. The adventure is designed as a direct continuation of the story in the Pathfinder Beginner Box with PCs starting Troubles in Otari at second level and taking them through to fifth level by the conclusion of the book. The adventure can be easily modified, however, to accommodate PCs starting at first level and rules for this are included. Drag and drop treasure parcels and Encounter XP that is easily awarded to your players to keep the game moving ahead
