All these changes make this moisturizer less irritating and a really great choice for sensitive skin types. Needless to say I much prefer this updated formula. Personally I have been really happy using the Soon Jung Hydro Barrier Cream! I find it very soothing especially when my skin is reactive or sensitive after exfoliating and doesn’t cause my acne prone face to breakout. I’ve also found this works great under makeup and as a primer, there is no pilling at all. It can take a couple of minutes to fully absorb which I am ok with. I would have liked a pump bottle as I don’t really like using products in jars, (I worry too much about germs getting in the products) but clearly it's not a deal breaker for me as I am on my third jar. There has been some healthy controversy surrounding them due to a few studies finding paraben presence in breast tumours and breast tissue. However, the majority of the scientific community have deemed these findings non-conclusive due to the limitations of these studies.
