About this deal

As it usually happens with Samsung's Super AMOLEDs, the one on the Galaxy A71 is capable of accurately reproducing different color spaces depending on content and selected display mode. The Natural screen mode stays accurate to sRGB with an average DeltaE of 1.7, while Vivid adheres to the DCI-P3 color space with an average DeltaE of 3.3 (though by opting for Warmer White Balance you can lower it down to 2.7). No other screen modes are available. Battery life When using wireless charging accessories, please be aware that any metal or magnetic materials (e.g., coins, magnetic cards) placed between the device and the wireless charger may decrease charging efficiency or cause damage to the phone or tablet and charger. I’m going to go out on a limb here and say, no, wireless charging, while useful, isn’t something I’d actively require from a phone – at any price point. It is a nice feature to have, sure, but compared to conventional wired charging, it is painfully slow. Unfortunately, the Samsung Galaxy A71 doesn’t come with built-in wireless charging, however, we’ve found a simple and cost-effective solution to overcome this. 1. Wireless Charging Adapters

So, the Super AMOLED screen is 6.7" in diagonal, with rounder corners and punch-hole for the front camera. It has a resolution of 2,400 x 1,080 pixels that makes for a 20:9 aspect ratio and 393ppi density. The display is protected by a Gorilla Glass 3 piece for some extra peace of mind. Of course, if you want wireless charging on your Galaxy A71, there is a way of installing it but it is fairly long-winded and, honestly, probably isn’t worth the hassle.

Charging may take longer when using adapters, charging wirelessly, or charging the phone or tablet through another device. Again, I don’t think it is worth the hassle. And I don’t know anyone that likes wireless charging enough to do all of that. But if you want to do it, you now know how to go about adding wireless charging to the Galaxy A71. The Samsung Galaxy A71 is a great phone. With it, you get access to flagship-grade spec and features for considerably less than Samsung’s Galaxy S21. This is why Samsung’s A-Series phones are so popular. Don't let your battery completely drain. With new lithium-ion batteries being used, it is better to keep the battery partially charged, instead of letting it run out completely. When possible, charge your device in small amounts to keep the battery from depleting. If the power has been depleted, the battery charging indicator may take up to 10 minutes to appear on the phone or tablet's screen while charging.

The Galaxy A71 has a single loudspeaker on the bottom - par for the course in the segment. That just about sums up its performance in terms of loudness and the phone scored an 'Average' rating in our test. It'll do for general use if you're not too demanding, just don’t expect to hear boomy bass notes. Plus, Samsung’s wireless charging is rubbish anyway, so when I’ve actually had it on phones that I’ve been testing I never actually used it anyway. The charger itself is very compact which makes it highly portable. Ideal for taking with you on holidays or short trips.

1. Charge the battery

The Samsung Galaxy A71 has the same screen as the Galaxy A70's but the notch is a bit different. While the A70 had the 2019's waterdrop-shaped cutout, the A71 joins the '20 trend with a punch-hole for the selfie camera. Sure, it's not as small as the one on Note10 Lite, but it's a hole alright. Super AMOLED eye-candy - A71, S10 Lite, Note10 Lite From a quality control perspective, looking at both the hardware and the software on offer here, you’re just not going to run into any problems with this phone. And that, alongside its killer specs and price, is why it is more popular with consumers than Samsung’s fancier, more expensive models. How To Add Wireless Charging To Galaxy A71 Fast charging uses battery charging technology that charges your Galaxy batteryfaster byincreasing the charging power however without damaging your battery. These phones supportSamsung’s Adaptive fast chargingfeature and qualcomm technology. This charger is the exact same model that came with your phone, so makes an ideal spare or replacement. The 25W power ensures faster more reliable charging. Sadly, the Samsung Galaxy A71 does not have wireless charging capabilities. This feature – at least when it comes to Samsung phones – is reserved for its more expensive, flagship devices like the Note 20 and Galaxy S21. Charging may take longer when using adapters, charging wirelessly, or charging the phone or tablet through another device like a PC.

Popular handsets without wireless charging as standard, are often accompanied by official wireless charging compatible cases that convert the phone and bring it up to modern-day standards. Unfortunately, it seems as though Samsung has forgotten about this with the A71, leaving it with very few official cases and at present no wireless charging options that feature the adapter built-in. We’ll keep our eyes out for any official or third-party cases that might facilitate this feature and update the article accordingly. 3. Wireless Charging PadsThisSamsung Galaxy charger is an official Samsung product made from the highest quality materials and to the strictest standards. This is ideal as the new Samsung Galaxy devices do not come with plugs, or as a spare or replacement for your existing chargers from previous devices. Don't let your battery completely drain. With new lithium-ion batteries being used, it is better to keep the battery partially charged, instead of letting it die. When possible, charge your device in small amounts to keep the battery from depleting. If the power has been depleted, the battery charging indicator may take up to 10 minutes to appear on the phone or tablet's screen while charging. The results from our battery life test are in and the Samsung Galaxy A71 scored an excellent mark! The phone lasted north of 13 hours on our web browsing test, more than 17 hours when playing videos, and 30+ hours on 3G talks. Finally, when we added the very good standby performance, we got an overall Endurance Rating of 102 hours.

The Galaxy A71 has the same large battery as the A70 - it's a 4,500 mAh Li-Ion cell. The phone supports fast charging and it comes bundled with the appropriate 25W plug. Using the charger, you will be able to replenish about 51% of its empty battery in half an hour, and it takes 81 minutes for a full charge. This adapter is available as a standard wireless charging adapter and a Fast 10W wireless charging adapter. 2. Wireless Charging Cases Additionally, wireless charging isn’t just limited to pads, as there are also wireless charging car holders and wireless charging power banks available, meaning you can really make use of this latest technological advancement. Wrapping Up Add in the fact that it also looks like a flagship phone, but retails for a third of the price, and I could care less about it not having wireless charging. Please note:Charging mains adapter not included. Fast data transfer speed for accessing and copying files

Plan Benefits

Make sure your phone or tablet doesn't overheat. Keep it in a cool location, especially while charging. There’s an abundance of wireless chargers available from various manufacturers, however one of our favourites is the Slim 15W Fast Wireless Charging Pad from Olixar. With it’s overall slim and compact design, accompanied with it’s stylish design and fast charging capability, it’s certainly one of the top wireless charging pads available. And while competition is extremely stiff at this end of the market, with awesome options from RealMe, VIVO, and Xiaomi, as well as emerging brands like POCO, I think Samsung is still very much leading the way here.
