The Roy Grace series is the most famous and prominent book series written by Peter James. This series also established him as a writer and allowed him to create this massive 18-book series. In 2005 The Merchant of Venice, directed by Michael Radford and for which James was executive producer, had a royal premiere in the presence of Prince Charles and received a BAFTA Award nomination.
