Four rooms plus a center room mean you can have a bedroom, kitchen, living room, whatever you want! Keep in mind most of the Ozark Trail tents are designed for larger groups and family campers. There are smaller tents in their collection too. But the range isn’t as large as family tents. In terms of durability, the tent is good but not great. The fiberglass poles aren’t the best in terms of rigidity. The floor material isn’t the most durable either. Suppose you want a budget-friendly darkroom camping tent with waterproof advantages. In that case, the Beesky Dark Room Camping Tent is meant for you. With dimensions of 8 x 7 ft. and 54 inches in center height, the tent is enough to fit 4 campers. Also, the Beesky store offers an 8-person tent if you need a larger outdoor shelter. These tents are excellent options for camping families. They have a lot to offer and are ideal choices for camping during the warmer months of the year. Cabin tents are larger in size and their straight walls also offer more space. The design also allows for larger sizes suited for more than 10 people. That makes them a good choice for car camping or hunting trips with large groups. The Number of Occupants If you’re looking for a large family camping tent, the Ozark Trail is a great option. In terms of comfort and design, it’s one of the best in this category.Like a lot of cheap dome tents, there’s not a lot of space. The Coleman Sundome 3 (a notable competitor to the Ozark Trail 3 Person Dome) also only has 49sq feet of space. And, like this tent, disappoints a fair number of people for that reason. Some people also complain about quality control issues (missing or broken components) which is perhaps to be expected at this price point. The main problem is reliability and durability over the long term. Again, just what you might expect at this price point. Should You Buy It? Regarding the area, the tent is officially for 18 people. For this, you have 255 ft² (23.7 m²), and this means 14.17 ft² (1.3 m²) per person. So this is far from enough and the official capacity makes no sense. In my view, it is best to downgrade this number by half. But this is a huge tent and I have included it in my list of extra large family camping tents. Not only that, but the dome tent will keep you safe from the elements better than any cabin tent out there. The brand promises tents with lots of space, ample ventilation, easy assembly, and lots of storage options. However, it’s important not to set your expectations too high. In this setup you have a 4-person tent plus a screened area in front of it.
