We all know, intuitively, that change is inevitable, but sometimes, it can be tough to recognize how much we’ve changed over time because we see ourselves every day. By capturing a small snapshot in my journal of who I was every day for five years, I now have a time capsule that’s allowed me to really see and appreciate how much I’ve changed. Fostering Mindfulness: Taking a moment each day to write down your gratitude encourages mindfulness and being present in the now. Underneath the prompt are 31 lines. One line for each day of the month. This is where you’ll write your one sentence each day. Time Efficiency: Highlight the time efficiency of the “line a day” approach. I’m not exactly sure why it’s called “one line a day” because each day you are given 5 lines, and for me that fit’s around 4-5 sentences.
