About this deal

The Asajj Ventress lightsaber is the first Force FX lightsaber inspired by a hilt design outside of the Star Wars films. Includes a specialized stand for the iconic curved-hilt design. Additionally, the lightsaber includes a coupler enabling the user to combine two Asajj Ventress Force FX lightsabers together to form a double-bladed saberstaff. 12. Kit Fisto Force FX Lightsaber Hasbro later released a newer, pricier and more technologically advanced iteration of the Kylo Ren crossguard lightsaber called the Supreme Leader Kylo Ren Force FX Elite Lightsaber. 5. Luke Skywalker Force FX Lightsaber (Return of the Jedi) Force FX Lightsabers are designed for either display or for Cosplay. So, no, you cannot fight with a Force FX Lightsaber. (Sad face) Conclusion

Although it's fantastic overall, some corners have been cut with the Obi-Wan Kenobi Force FX Elite Lightsaber (Image credit: Future)

Black Series Rey (Jedi Training) Force FX Lightsaber

Product designer Chris Reiff on how Hasbro aims to construct a new, better lightsaber with its latest crowd-funded dream project. The Darth Maul lightsaber includes a coupler. Join together two individual Darth Maul Force FX Lightsabers using the coupler to form a double-bladed saberstaff. At last we will reveal ourselves to the Jedi. At last we will have revenge. 9. Obi-Wan Kenobi Force FX Lightsaber (The Phantom Menace) First introduced in The Clone Wars and most recently seen in The Mandalorian, Ahsoka has had a variety of lightsabers from her time as a Jedi and her time after. She has carried one and two lightsabers, from colors ranging from white to green to blue.

The blade can easily come off for display of just the hilt. Additionally, you can choose to display the Kyber crystal in or outside of the lightsaber. Another iconic lightsaber is Darth Maul’s. Double-bladed and deadly, this replica is double-bladed as well. Since the blades are removable, you can choose to use them with one or two blades showing. Obi-Wan’s A New Hope lightsaber has one of the brightest blades. Glowing a very bright blue, it matches the saber he wields when he calls himself Ben.

Black Series Count Dooku Black Series Force FX Lightsaber

Another special feature of her lightsaber is the removable Kyber crystal for display. As always you can remove the blade as well if desired. Like the Jedi, the number of Sith in the prequels also grows. Naturally, this means that red lightsabers become equally abundant (and more diverse). The Phantom Menace (1999) starts this trend by introducing Darth Maul (Ray Park), whose weapon is unique in that it has a double-blade design. Next, we meet his successor, Count Dooku (Christopher Lee), who forgoes overt flashiness in favour of an elegant blade with a curved hilt. And finally, we get to see Palpatine / Darth Sidious (Ian McDiarmid) in action, the man who will become the Emperor swiftly despatching several Jedi Masters before engaging in an extended duel with Yoda.

Chris Reiff: It was fantastic. We had seen behind-the-scenes stuff of it in people's hands, but seeing it come to life in the show with full effects and story behind it, it's a nice, rewarding thing to see because we've been spending so much time and got to know it so well, and then it just takes it up another notch to see it in the show coming to life. It's only after trying something cheaper that you realize why replicas like this are so much more expensive Just like Ventress, Dooku’s hilt is curved as well. Although his hilt is of a slightly different style. The blade glows a similar bright red.First things first: while it includes the sound and light effects you get with all lightsabers, this isn't a toy. It's not even an action-ready prop you can swing around in a duel. It's for display, so even though you can try to cross swords, it's more likely to shatter than anything else. It’s still on the expensive side for a kids’ toy, and those small parts could go missing if they’re not looked after, but this is a breath of fresh air from the pop-up toys or solid blades often seen on the shelves. You can also use them with other lightsabers in the Bladebuilders range, giving you a spectrum of customization. Basically, it all works - and it works phenomenally well. It's only after trying something cheaper that you realize why replicas like this are so much more expensive. Simply put, they're much better. PREMIUM DETAILING FOR AUTHENTICITY: The Obi-Wan Kenobi Force FX Elite Lightsaber features design and deco based on Obi-Wan Kenobi ‘s iconic blue Lightsaber featured in the Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi series

One thing to remember about this version of the saber is that the crystal and blade can’t be in the lightsaber hilt at the same time. Even though they can’t be in it together, it does allow for the display of each at the same time. Even though it would be insanely cool if you could actually duel with Force FX Lightsabers, unfortunately this isn’t possible. Skipping a few decades, the sequel trilogy focuses on the time following the defeat of the Galactic Empire and introduces both a new hero and a villain: Rey (Daisy Ridley) and Kylo Ren (Adam Driver). The former doesn’t receive her final lightsaber until the very end of the saga, at which point she opts for a yellow colour, but Kylo wastes no time, brandishing one with a cross guard. During the story, we also learn that Leia (Carrie Fisher), another member of the Skywalker lineage, began her Jedi training and is herself a competent dueller. What Do the Colours of a Lightsaber Mean? This one also doesn’t include as many features as the other version. The hilt is not as detailed and slightly thinner than the elite version. It does come with a stand for display as well. Kit Fisto’s lightsaber was known for being one of the few that could work underwater as well as above ground. His simple silver hilt emits a green blade, just as seen in the movies. This sword includes sound effects just as heard in the show. From clashing sabers to blaster deflection, you’ll be living out your Cosplay dreams with this lightsaber.
