About this deal

One of my favourite things about the Mira Azora Dual is the temperature safety features. I have owned several electric showers, though not as good as this one, and have been scalded too many times! Knowing I can enjoy a shower without that potentially worry is calming!

The Quartz’s real strength isn’t its looks, though, but its consistently good flow and excellent temperature management, with even the less powerful 8.5kW model delivering a decent shower. Popular with users and plumbers, it’s a class act.

The best electric showers you can buy in 2023

Our Mira Clearscale™ technology reduces limescale by up to 50% so you can have a better performing, longer lasting shower. Want a compact, easy-to-use, affordable shower? Then the Mira Minimal is the ideal choice for you! You’d think its affordability would have some kind of negative impact on its features but it doesn’t at all. In fact, this shower by Mira was so good that it made it on our best Mira thermostatic shower list. While this is one of Mira’s cheapest showers, it astonishingly includes several of their known technologies; Clearscale, Magni-Flo and CoolShield. As well as all these awesome features, the Minimal comes with the Mira Beat shower head, which is one of Mira’s top shower heads. You are also covered with a massive 5-year warranty, so you can buy without worry knowing that in the unlikely event you have any issues, you will be supported. Features: Very smart looking shower with powerful spray from both the large and small shower head. Very pleased with this item and it was at a very competitive cost with Plumbworld It also comes with an adjustable shower handset to choose how low or high you would like the showerhead to sit. Mira’s Clearscale doesn’t just apply to the internals of this model – both the showerhead and deluge have rub-clean nozzles. Making cleaning simple and minimising limescale build-up, ensuring that the Azora Dual lasts a very long time. Another great feature of this model is the separate power and temperature controls. This allows you to essentially set and forget your preference and literally rinse and repeat daily with no effort. Features:

We found the best Mira shower to be the Mira Sport Max Airboost; it features Airboost technology which increases flow by up to 30% (without using extra water), includes lots of Mira’s patented technologies, reduces limescale up to 50%, anti-scaling technology, shower flow is optimised, separate temperature and power controls, a 2-year warranty, the list goes on and on with this excellent shower by Mira. Are Mira showers any good? It was bought as a second shower - as electric to be there when the hot water failed but it’s used daily as a choice - bo different to the shower off the boiler! You can position the deluge overhead where it suits in best suits your bathroom, all thanks to the adjustable arm. I would definitely recommend having a rain shower with an additional shower head as this one has much more versatile. This innovative Mira electric shower grabs the first spot. With its advanced pressure-stabilised temperature controls, you can be assured that the Mira Sport Max Airboost will provide you with a consistent temperature throughout your shower. The best thing about this shower for me is its Airboost technology which boosts the water flow by up to 30%. Mira even claims that this is the UK’s most powerful electric shower.

CoolShield technology is another great feature that ensures the valve doesn’t get too hot during a shower, preventing accidental scalding. Its thermostatic temperature controls make showering safe for your family too, as thermostatic temperature control is very precise. The flexible slide bar has the added benefit in that it covers any remaining screw holes from previous shower kits, making this shower a perfect replacement. Features: Key specs – Wattages: 9.8kW; Controls: Rotary temperature, rotary power, on/off button; Spray patterns: 4; Advanced features: Clearscale anti-scale, Sensi-Flo scalding protection; Minimum pressure/flow: 0.7 bar/not specified; Dimensions: 233 x 367 x 77mm Users love the design, the consistent heat and the strong flow rate, plus the way the display flashes until the water has reached the correct temperature or shows “CL” to remind you to clean the showerhead. It’s a good-looking mid-range shower that gives you that little bit more. On the Azora Dual, the temperature is controlled via a Thermostatic SMA ( Shape Memory Alloy). For some context, SMA is a material that is very sensitive to temperature and therefore as part of the thermostat, it can react rapidly to temperature changes. Electric showers that have thermostatic controls are able to maintain a stable temperature whether hot or cold, whilst also managing fluctuations in electrical and water supply, so having this feature is a great benefit. Thermostatic temperature control and Mira Sensi flo ™ technology helps prevent the risk of scalding, ensuring safer showering for all the family. Thermostatic Temperature Stability and Sensi-flo technology to help prevent the risk of scalding and phased shutdown to flush hot water from the tank to make it safe for the next user. Push-button on / off allows power and temperature controls to be left at the preferred setting.
