Maxi Cosi Pebble Pro is i-Size car seat suitable from birth to 75cm (approx 12 months), which features Side Protection System, which efficiently absorbs the energy in the event of a collision. Impact-absorbing material in top side wings offers extra support for your baby. The integrated sun canopy offers excellent sun protection. The best place to fit your newborn car seat is the rear middle seat of your car. The next best place to install your newborn car seat/infant carrier is behind the passenger; this can be done if the middle seat doesn’t have ISOFIX anchors or a three-point seat belt for fixing the car seat in place. We don’t recommend it, but if you need to install the baby car seat in the front passenger seat, be sure to always deactivate the passenger airbag before doing so.

These days, more and more European cars have the ISOFIX system, so there is a good chance that yours will have it too. Our Maxi-Cosi FamilyFix2 easily attaches to your car’s ISOFIX anchor points. When it comes to travel legislation across Europe, there are two safety standards that you should be aware of: R44 and R129/i-Size. R44 groups 0+ (birth to 13 kg), 1 (9 to 18 kg), or 2/3 (15 to 36 kg) are based on your child’s weight, not height and are suitable for children from birth up to 12 years old. In accordance with the law, your baby must travel rearward-facing for at least 9 months. Removing an ISOFIX base varies depending on which base you have, but it usually involves pressing a button and disconnecting the base from the ISOFIX anchorage points. The base's user manual will usually contain a section that guides you through the installation and removal process so you can ensure you complete these steps safely and correctly.
