About this deal

SmallSpinach070 Advent Calendar We give advent calendars each year to family and friends. This is a wonderful holiday tradition. The Star Wars theme adds another layer of fun. So he considered his options. Fennec had told him that there was always a way to get what you wanted if you planned well enough. She was generally pretty good at planning and Grogu had no doubt that she could come up with a plan for him dilemma. But he wasn’t going to fire a weapon at anyone, so her favorite plan was out. He wasn’t going to threaten anyone with a weapon, so her second favorite plan was out. And he didn’t have a weapon to even use on the shelf so her third favorite plan was out. Dang. Usually Fennec’s advice worked better than that. After all, Moff Gideon was still acting like the Empire existed and was still in power. But it was gone. It had been for a few years. Easy come, easy go. In the big scheme of things the Empire, as run by Palpatine, had been a blink of an eye in length. Honestly, it could only have existed because the Republic before it was a mess. Also sad. Anderson Star Wars advent calendar Good set but I wish it had more minifigures and the 212th clone trooper looks weird with the helmet holes, it should not have the bump and the hole it should only be a hole

Grogu thought about all that while he and the Mandalorian sat in the shade at Peli’s Garage, while Peli and the pit droids tuned the N-1 Starfighter, which was their new home. It wasn’t big. It wasn’t natural at all. But it was fast and Grogu liked that. He knew they couldn’t outrun the future and what it meant to people and critters, but it was fun trying, even if it wasn’t always pretty. So why hide your face? The armor made you stand out… you were an individual. There were only two members in Clan Mudhorn. Grogu thought it was pretty easy to tell them apart. Din was taller than him… Grogu giggled at that thought. He didn’t really think anyone would mistake them for each other. Until he considered how every Mandalorian thought they were the only ones who should have the beskar armor that Cobb happened to be wearing. It wasn’t like Cobb had been the one to take the armor from a Mandalorian. That had been someone else’s fault. Grogu was pretty sure it wasn’t fair to have people inherit the problems of another person that way, but then the Mandalorians didn’t think it was fair that anyone would take their armor and they were at an impasse.Of course his floaty seat was already like that… hmmm. Maybe they’d make the Mandalorian a floaty seat and they could see who flew them better? Either way, there were still a lot of vehicles and a lot of ways to get around. The calendar comes with a playmat and different modules that can be connected and rearranged to create a playground for all the pets to play in. Kids can find the Christmas box and decorate and customize the Christmas tree with a range of colorful dots. But these ‘not a clone trooper’s all sounded different. Some sounded scared. Some sounded over confident. But none of them sounded the same. In a way, Grogu was glad of that. He hated to think that the Clones had continued to support the Empire that had used and abused them. Now that he was a Mandalorian foundling, would he need to become a member of a religion that included weapons? He didn’t really know. He was much smaller than humans and he hadn’t met any Mandalorians who weren’t also human. At least he thought that they were human. It was hard to tell with the helmets and armor. That had been interesting. Sorgan didn’t seem to have a lot of technology to hand. After all, they farmed little shrimp critters called krill. Were they shrimp or fish? Grogu didn’t know. But whatever they were, that stuff got turned into Spotchka. A blue drink. All the locals drank it.

He didn’t understand what she didn’t like about his actual name. ‘Grogu’ wasn’t name than ‘Peli’, was it? The Mandalorian seemed to like it. Once Ahsoka Tano told him what it was, that is. Until then he was ‘kid’ and ‘buddy’. Peli called him a ‘little womp rat’. Hmmm. What else? Well, he’d like controls that fit his size and abilities. It seemed like the old one could do things, but no one ever let him use them. That needed to end. He was a person and had a right be autonomous. He knew how to cross a street. He could fly his own floaty thing without the Mandalorian interfering all the time. Grogu had known very little about the Tuskens before he met them with Din Djarin. In fact, ‘very little’ actually equalled nothing. But that exchange did make Grogu think about food. Not just eating it, but why critters and people ate what they ate. He’d never really considered it before. Most of his life people just gave him things to eat or his stomach said ‘EAT THAT!’, or ‘EAT THAT NOW!’. So he did.

But Mandalorians stood apart from each other through the decorations on their armor. So they couldn’t really be hiding their identities. He could tell the difference between Paz Vizsla and Bo-Katan pretty readily. So it wasn’t that. Or was is like the Armorer said, that Mandalorians were both the hunter and the prey… did that mean that Mandalorian bounty hunters were hunted while they hunted? Or was that the case for all bounty hunters? They were hunted by each other? They were certainly affected by each other. After all the Mandalorian had to end the original IG-11 because the droid was going to end Grogu. Did that happen a lot between bounty hunters? He and the Mandalorian had continued their adventures and when he finally returned from Luke’s Jedi Sleep Away Camp, Peli had been excited to see him. Well, he had missed her and all the droids as well. R2-D2 was great and the builder mechs were pretty cool, but Grogu had missed the pit droids and Treadwell and R5.

Nah. Grogu had learned that it was never too late to honor the customs of people when you finally met them. Somehow the Mandalorian had learned to communicate with the Tuskens and learned their way and understood that their creed was as important to them as his creed was to him and other Mandalorians. Grogu had been glad of that.Din has exhibited zero interest in intergalactic politics, so we're curious to see if (and how) he gets pulled into the greater Mandalorian saga. As for Grogu, his Force powers could come in very handy in a fight, as we've seen already. The Mandalorian season 3 episodes and directors other mini builds – Clone Command Center, Ewok village, Endor bunker, Endor shield protector and Emperor’s throne He’d felt the same way at the Jedi Temple. The Knights and Masters had been proud of their skills with the lightsaber. And other forms of fighting. And while maybe they avoided killing people more than the Mandalorians had, the Jedi and Mandalorians had spent a fair amount of their mutual histories at war with each other. Perhaps that’s how weapons had become part of their religion? Includes 6 minifigures – Harry Potter™, Hermione Granger™, Ron Weasley™, Draco Malfoy™, Aberforth Dumbledore and Madam Rosmerta, plus iconic items from the Harry Potter movies But then Peli also repaired land speeders, but why she didn’t use one, he had no idea. Luke had told him about the landspeeder he had as a young person. It went fast. It was an X-34 according to Luke, but X 34 of what? Grogu didn’t understand the naming conventions for things like that. After all, once you had one of a thing why did you need two of it? Why not just improve the one thing instead of designing and building the other thing? It seemed kind of wasteful to him.

The cast of The Mandalorian season 3 is led by Pedro Pascal as the titular character, Din Djarin. Pascal voices Mando and portrays him sans helmet, while a body double actor takes on the full suit. Eventually people like Moff Gideon would run out of supporters, or credits, or equipment, or troopers. The way the Moff treated them, that was likely to happen sooner rather than later. Which was just fine from Grogu’s perspective. The sooner Gideon was on his own with nothing to his name, the better. When people were like that they were very hard to reason with. Anything less than everything was too little and unacceptable. Add to it that less than everything meant they were vulnerable. A teeny, tiny, little bit vulnerable, which was way, way too much because of how fearful they were. It must be a horrible way to live.
