The Ei3024 is powered by 230V AC mains. In the event of mains failure, the rechargeable 10 year built in tamper-proof lithium cells will provide up to 3 months power supply in the case of a wireless RF installation or up to 6 months in any other case. Performing a regular test is a vital part of ensuring continued fire and carbon monoxide detection. Alarms should be tested monthly to ensure everything is working correctly.

Intelligent integrated software enables the device to detect all fire types (TF1 to TF6 & TF8) which surpasses conventional single sensor alarms. The risk of false alarms is also greatly reduced with its smoke chamber design, integrated insect screen and automatic dust compensation. SmartLINK compatible. Simply plug in an Ei3000MRF module to enable wireless interconnection, data extraction and real-time notifications of alarm activations and events via the SmartLINK Gateway and Portal. You will know when you need to change the battery, as you will hear a single regular beep (low battery warning) coming from the alarm, however it is recommended that you change the battery every year. The memory feature allows an Alarm that has previously activated to be easily identified (through the red flashing LED).

A large Test / Silence button is fitted to the alarm enabling frequent testing. The silence function allows the alarm / system to be silenced in the case of a false alarm and low battery / fault noises. If you are using an Alarm Controller Ei450 this will continue for as long as you hold down the ‘Test’ button. If the alarms are sounding, there may be a fire present. You should evacuate the property and be absolutely sure there is no fire before returning. If in doubt, always assume there is a real fire present and take the necessary action. The Ei3024 is fitted with a large central Test/ Silence button to facilitate frequent testing of the alarm and system.
