About this deal

The front USB type C port delivers power on my ASUS ROG Strix B550-I with its USB 3.2 Gen 1 connector, but does not transfer data at all. My Oculus Quest 2 stays dead. But I can charge my phone. Great. The clever cooling design of the case is similarly spartan in outlook. A separate fan is not needed as the case takes advantage of the integrated cooling of the installed hardware, thus saving valuable space here as well. To ensure that all components are exposed to fresh air the two side panels and the top of the A4-SFX V4.1 have been provided with round air holes over a large surface area along with elongated holes on the bottom to ensure a continuous supply of fresh air.

Every component is able to cool itself by getting fresh air directly from the outside. Hot air in the case will move to the top and then outside without the need of an extra fan. This principle works perfect and results in an amazing cooling efficiency compare to other cases. In a reversed setup, where the AIO moves to the GPU side next to a conventional SFX form factor power supply. This reduces the length of the graphics card to 173 mm and the height of the AIO including fan to 42mm. Those who can do without two SSDs have room for 92mm AIOs on the ground, such as the 545LC from Asetek. To effectively protect all vents from dust, DEMCiflex provides optional DAN Cases A4-SFX Dust Filters. With the CE declaration a company guarantee, that there product conforms all laws for this type of product. This means the EU had specified a ton of guidelines for every product. Depending on the size of the PSU, up to two 2.5” HDDs or SSDs can be mounted in the drive bay. This drive bay could potentially be mounted with rubber spacers to reduce vibration. A third drive can be mounted behind the front cover.

Customer review "A4-SFX V4.1 Mini-ITX Gaming Case - Black"

I don't want to make a new thread, so I thought I post it here. Because I am on the last steps to bring the A4-SFX to market I had to deal with laws that need to fulfill to sell a case in the EU.

The new V3 edition features quality Lian-Li components including a new PCIE 3.0 riser module, optional AIO mount for CPU water-cooling support with both a 92mm and 120mm radiator configuration plus mounting points for theHDPLEX 400W HiFi DC-ATX. We believe SFF computers are the future for PC builders – whether you like it or not – and expect to see more and more PC builders turn to the mini-ITX form factor from ATX and look to build smaller, compact systems with equal performance to ATX systems.

dyonoctisVRM wise Buildzoid was pretty satisfied with the current offering, if you are going high-end you get 10 phases at the minimum, and the mid-range got 8 phases.Buildzoid's VRM analysis of the various mITX boards was indeed reassuring. The A4-SFX case is a one-man project with the goal of creating the smallest case possible while still using high-end standardized components, such as Core i7 processors and powerful full-length GPUs such as the GeForce GTX 980 Ti. As I know many of the products that sell by startup over crowdfunding aren’t registered and have real CE declaration with test report, because they think we aren’t located in the EU so what could happen or they don't know these laws. But this could be a problem and destroy your company faster as you can look if a person will be hurt by your product, a bigger company like Silverstone, Lian Li see you as a competitor or a lawyer wan’t to earn money by serve a notice to you. I can only recommand deal with the laws of the countries where you like to export, because every succesfull company do this.

The actual availability of those boards is atrocious though. AusWolfI'm not worried about heat dumped into the case. My point is that with less surface area, you need a more capable cooler with more airflow to keep your silicon temperature low.Yeah, that's what I'm saying. A Rzyen 7 7800X3D and compact, dual-slot 4070 is about the most I'd want to try and shoehorn into an mITX box. By the time you're adding triple-slot GPUs to an mITX board, there's enough wasted space under the GPU that you didn't need to compromise on mITX in the first place; There's almost enough room for a micro-ATX board - at least in this perpendicular GPU layout. They folded the rinser cable like so that you cannot fit a 14mm case fan under it. According to the specs the case even holds a 15mm fan. Folding a super expensive rinser cable is no fun.
