I had often thought the Caliburn G range were more RDL or DTL devices, but this absolutely gives you a lovely MTL vape indeed. I dropped a couple of marks on the build quality score due to the wobbly pod and mis-firing on auto draw issues. The device kept vibrating when I touched the pod as if I was removing / replacing it. So it was breaking connection even with the slightest touch. While the air inlets are far away from each other, then the device is suitable for mouth-to-lung vaping. A simple transition between mouth to lung and direct to lung vaping makes the Caliburn G ideal for all types vapers. A lot of people find they have no problem and admittedly it does get looser over time, but it ends up looking like my mouthpiece has been through a lawnmower. (Sorry as this will be showing in some of my photos).The mouthpiece also serves as the fill cap for the pod. It’s much more rounded than the mouthpiece on the original and while I think the original was comfortable to use, I like this mouthpiece even more. It follows the curves of my lips even better and just generally feels nicer. This is another key difference between the two. With the Caliburn G, you can remove and change the coils when you like. These are press-fit, sitting in the groove fashioned within the pod. Meanwhile, the Caliburn A2 coils are pre-installed with the pod and you need to throw away the whole accessory when you’re done. Some people like the no-hassle approach of just throwing the pod in the bin. Nevertheless, the coil flavour and cloud production are fantastic when using both. Smooth, dense and rich in taste, you get the best from your e-liquid whenever you select Uwell - that’s a given. In terms of functionality, expect a similar output to that of its previous Caliburn G Pod. However, the G2 allows a choice of auto or manual draw when vaping. I mainly used my own e-liquid mix which is 50/50 PG/VG made from IVG Bubblegum Concentrate at 20% ratio.
