About this deal

The Litre Guinness Hop House is a type of Irish pub that was first established in the early 1800s. The pubs were originally built to serve as a gathering place for local farmers and laborers. The name “Litre Guinness” comes from the fact that the pubs were often used to measure out and serve the local brewed beer. The “Hop House” part of the name refers to the fact that the pubs were often located near hop fields. According to an announcement made today by Diageo, after reviewing their beer portfolio, they have decided to prioritize the main Guinness trademark in the UK, as well as the delisting of Hop House Lager. Hop House 13 is brewed by the Brewers Project, which also manufactures Guinness Dublin Porter, Guinness West Indies Porter and Guinness Golden Ale.
