About this deal

It looks great, I wasn't a huge fan of the orange colour scheme at first, but I have to say it's grown on me and now I think it's a really cool looking pedal. It has come up with two great guitar pedals, the DS-1 and DS-2, that will help you distort your music in the best way possible.

I've had an ambiguous relationship with overdrive and distortion throughout my life. I'm basically a shoegazer at heart, and in the 1990s I shied away from it as it was associated in my mind with 'big hair' and metal acts. I now realise, of course, that all my favourite shoegazers were distortion freaks; the effect sounds very different when it's syphoned through oodles of reverb and echo and modulation. The boss itself is pretty fast and agile, reminiscent of Artorias from the first game's DLC, though not quite as hard-hitting or aggressive. The best tactic is for at least a single summon to help, whether it be for aggro bait or simply to take pot shots to whittle down her health. playing through sotfs edition (several years after I played ds2), I finally realized most of my deaths come from the enemies throughout the map than the bosses themselves. Though I think I only run into this issue early game, otherwise once I've beefed my stats, later game areas become easier to get through and I don't have to run like a pussy to find a few seconds to heal. From then on death is only because I'm stupid as **** and continuously get greedy during boss fights. She has to be defeated to gain access to the Sanctum Nadir Bonfire; and ultimately Sinh, The Slumbering Dragon.Although they are very similar when it comes to specifications and features, few details like the turbo mode and remote-control support sets the two apart.

First Boss of Heide's Tower of Flame. Accessed by the mist located on a circle platform and guarded by an Old Knight wielding an ultra greatsword. Masterless Glencour can be summoned right outside the Fog Door. A Distortion knob allows you to adjust the amount of distortion on your sound, taking it from a slight crunch perfect for blues music to a super distorted sound that’s ideal for metal and other heavy styles.I bought it used (she had almost never used) for € 35 hoping naively get a "big" sound typical Nirvana ... Needless to say I was disappointed. This is part of the reason that the tone control is more usable, however. Unlike the DS-1, even when wide open, the DS-2 doesn't become overwhelmingly 'fizzy'. Especially into a decent amp, you can run the treble pretty much maxed out, especially in mode two. List of all 32 bosses available in Dark Souls 2, and the bosses encountered in the additional DLC content. Defeating them grants you access to further areas, gives you special items such as Keys, and drops Boss Souls that can be used to acquire Boss Soul Weapons.

The Boss DS-2 has a power supply of 9 V DC and supports the turbo mode as well as the remote input mode. It is light orange and weighs 400 g (0.88 pounds). This guitar pedal measures about 7.3 x 1.29 x 5.9 cm. The Boss DS-1 is known to sound crunchier and fuzzier than the Boss DS-2. The latter can produce heavier sounds and form a wide range of distorted tones. Boss DS-1 Vs. Boss DS-2- Tonal Characteristics Tone Control: This control allows the user to adjust the treble as well as bass frequencies. If you turn the dial to 0, the treble is reduced to 0, and the bass boosts up. On the other hand, if you turn it all the way to the maximum level, the bass drops, and the treble increases. However, if the boss is not killed before they rise for the first time, then great caution must be exercised. The boss can breath fire onto the ground, causing it to splash outward and deal heavy damage in two pulses to players that are caught in the blast. The wyvern can also latch onto the walls of the aviary and breathe fire downward, either in a constant blast or as a single large fireball. Optional Bosses of the Cave of the Dead, accessed after the Priestess' Rest bonfire. Three NPC-like enemies that gank you: the first is a dual swordsman, the second is a Havel tank, and the third is an archer.

Turbo Distortion

The turbo function is cool, however I don't find myself using it too often as the regular drive sounds so great. I do use the turbo function sometimes, but only when I'm playing some dirty drop D Metal riffs, which isn't all the time since I'm more of a soul / blues kind of axeman. However, I actually bought this pedal because it has the turbo setting as that adds extra dynamics. It can produce subtle blues drive tones, all the way to screaming Metal leads - Very versatile. Fire - More specifically Pyromancy. While not as good as the aforementioned weaknesses, Pyromancies such as Great Fireball and Great Chaos Fireball deal around 650-700 damage with a +10 Pyromancy Flame at only 25 Int/25 Faith (tested in NG+ through NG+7) I really liked some of the boss designs, like Nashandra, but most of them were so unoriginal and bland;

The Boss DS-1 sounds slightly grittier than the Boss DS-2 and is also overdriven. The latter has a heavier and smoother distortion, resulting in a more pleasant sound. The Boss DS-1 guitar pedal features one mode, while the Boss DS-2 features two modes. The two modes on the latter refer to its turbo switch, which allows the user to turn it on or off.Buy the Boss DS-2 Turbo Distortion pedal now and add classic Boss distortion tones and new, maxed out Turbo tones to your sound. Weakness: None (but does take more damage from Magic and Lightning) (has been said by IGN) as stated by IGN
