The handle is a light aluminium so you don’t need to be super strong to use this as a window squeegee. Being a mop design, it doesn’t squeegee the floor completely dry like the other models listed here, however you will end up with a sparkling clean floor. What do you need this tool for? Whether it’s a wet room, tiles, laminate, wood, concrete or any other surface, the squeegee design needs to complement this.

As squeegees are designed to shift water droplets, snow and ice may be too tough for them. Whilst a squeegee may work to clear a light snowfall for heavier or compacted snow use a snow shovel or scraper as this could damage your squeegee. Suitable for most inks and for non absorbent surfaces.A window cleaner or tiled surface needs to be a soft foam maybe with an added rubber scraper for removing excess moisture. If it’s concrete or paving slabs then a heavy-duty rubber is required to ensure the head doesn’t wear away after a few uses. Cost The metal handle squeegee is number 1 for a reason! So much so that we are currently in the process of exchanging (nearly) all of our squeegees over to the metal ergonomic handles.
