About this deal

UniFi USP-RPS er et proprietært redundant Power system designet til at beskytte op til 6 UniFi SmartPower understøttede enheder mod pludselig strømforsynings fejl. For information about compatible fiber SFP modules, visit: ubnt.link/UniFi_SFP_DAC_Compatibility Specifications

The Ubiquiti UniFi USP-RPS is a smartpower redundant power system, designed to protect up to 6 x UniFi SmartPower supported devices from sudden power supply module failure. Med et 950W DC-strømbudget kan USP-RPS beskytte en række højeffektive enheder, herunder UniFi PoE-omskiftere. For outdoor applications, shielded Category 5 (or above) cabling should be used for all wired Ethernet connections and should be grounded through the AC ground of the power supply. The Ubiquiti UniFi USW Pro 24-POE is a configurable, Gigabit Layer 2 and Layer 3 switch with auto-sensing 802.3at PoE+ and 802.3bt PoE++.

Standard Warranty: 1-Year

The USP-RPS was created to ensure stable operation of Ubiquiti Networks devices regardless of possible problems with sudden power failure. It supports up to six devices with the UniFi SmartPower standard, including PoE switches USW Pro. A key feature of the system is the continuous monitoring of each connected network device. This is done thanks to the USP cable system, which is - in case of failure of the internal AC/DC power supply - an additional power source for the device in addition to the standard one. It is worth noting that the USP-RPS ensures automatic power supply restoration, thanks to which the network should operate without any interruption to the supply of communications. Control and management of the equipment is possible thanks to unified UniFi Network Controller software, while the status of individual elements or adaptation status can be read thanks to physical LEDs on the device and a small touch screen. The primary purpose of the RPS (Pro) is to recover the device experiencing the internal power supply failure. Overload may occur multiple devices simultaneously experience a power interruption and their power requirement exceeds that of the RPS (Pro)'s power availability. In this case, power will be provided according to the priorities listed below. Priority Level

In the event of a UniFi switch power supply failure, the USP-RPS automatically supplies redundant power to the failed device. One UniFi SmartPower device can support up to 6 devices until the failed device is replaced. Connect the included USP Cable to a UniFi device with a USP Connect DC input. (Additional USP cables are sold separately as model USP-Cable.) Enheden har integreret 1,3tm farve touchscreen LCM, der viser systeminformation til praktisk overvågning. Some UniFi devices have a proprietary USP port that allows them to be connected using a Ubiquiti USP-Cable (sold separately). Note: Although the cabling can be located outdoors, the UniFi Switch itself should be housed inside a protective enclosure. UniFi SmartPower technology optimizes your network to maximize uptime and resiliency through advanced power redundancy and distribution units. Uninterruptible Power and Redundancy We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons: The USP-RPS will continuously monitor all attached devices, in case of an internal AC/DC power supply failure. The USP-RPS fail-over is automatic, so your network continues to operate with no interruption in service.

Note: Although the cabling can be located outdoors, the USP-RPS itself should be housed inside a protective enclosure. This DC input provides redundant power when the UniFi Switch is connected to the UniFi SmartPower Redundant Power System, model USP-RPS, via the USP Cable (not included). If there is an AC power loss or internal power supply failure, the UniFi Switch will draw power from the USP-RPS instead.

We recommend that you protect your networks from harmful outdoor environments and destructive ESD events with industrial-grade, shielded Ethernet cable from Ubiquiti. We may use your personal information to send you promotional information about third parties which we think you may find interesting if you tell us that you wish this to happen. To prevent short circuiting, the RPS (Pro) monitors power continuously. If the power limit threshold is exceeded, the RPS (Pro) will cut off power on the port to protect the device and the port's circuit. PSU Power Overload

Resets to factory defaults. The device should be running after bootup is complete. Press and hold the Reset button for about 10 seconds until the display indicates that the device has reset itself. After a few seconds, the LED will turn off, and the device will automatically reboot. Ubiquiti UniFi Gen2 Switches offer a variety of features, including 10G SFP+ ports, PoE+ or PoE++ support, and Layer 3* switching capabilities. (*Layer 3 switching will be available in a future software release). USP-RPS overvåger løbende alle tilsluttede enheder. I tilfælde af intern AC / DC-strømforsyningsfejl er failover automatisk, så dit netværk fortsætter med at fungere uden afbrydelse i service. The USP cable is connected, but the RPS (Pro) has not successfully negotiated with the attached device. This may indicate that the attached device is not fully booted. PoE+ and eight PoE++ RJ45 ethernet ports have total 400W PoE budget, and two SFP+ ports offer 10Gbps uplink options. Near-silent cooling and a 1.3" touch LCM.
