About this deal

Cashmere: Described by the brand as a Pale Peach. My most used shade – so much so that the brand name has disappeared from the shadow altogether. This is a light to medium, soft peach shade with warm undertones and a matte finish. The shade is soft and smooth but incredibly powdery. So, not only is this the most used shade – being perfect for transition – the fact that it is too powdery will make me hit pan on this way sooner than any other shadow in the palette. It has decent pigmentation. It can sheer out easily which is counter-productive if you are using it on the lid – but great if you are using it as a transition shade. I was so happy to see a Tartelette with more pink and rosy shades and like the other Tartelette eyeshadow palettes, the shades in Tartelette Juicy are coordinated so all the shades in each row can be used to create a stunning eye look. Tarte Tartelette Eyeshadow Palettes Verdict Sunrise: Described by the brand as a Golden Beige color. It is a light, slightly yellow-toned beige with a pearly finish. It too is smooth and creamy. However, it is not as pigmented as I would want it to be. Being the lightest shimmer shade, while it works well for highlighting the brow bone, it doesn’t really make the inner corner of the eye pop unless it is built up. Pigmentation for most shades is really good. Two shades, Cashmere and Latet – part from being quite powdery, also sheer out quite easily which becomes a bit painful when being used on the lid, but work well when being used as a transition shade. Having said that, I am not sure that it is a miss from the lab/manufacturing perspective or it is by design. Meaning, are the shades low in pigmentation and easy to sheer out by accident or on purpose. Because the shades which have this concern have more than one use in the palette and the fact that they can sheer out actually works well for the palette. The shades blend well and mesh well with the other eye shadows without getting muddy, but it isn’t as effortless as say, the shadows from Natasha Denona or Viseart. Fireside: Described by the brand as a Deep Plum. I don’t know how it seems plum to Tarte. The deepest shade in the palette. This is a dark, deep, dirty brown shade with a matte finish. It has good pigmentation and works very well to deepen the eye look or even as an eyeliner.

Out of the 12 shades there are 7 mattes, 3 shimmers, one matte with glitter and one glitter shade. As you can see the palette is very much a gold/ orange/ brown toned palette. Not as red as Urban Decay’s Naked Heat and not as orange as a Morphe 35O. The shades are a bit more wearable and neutral, which is why this is quite possibly one of the best warm toned palettes out there. The Swatches Flame: Described by the brand as a metallic rust. This is a medium, warm, bronze shade with a metallic sheen. It has a smooth texture and excellent pigmentation without feeling dense. Quite easy to work with. tartelette™ in bloom clay palette Ingredients: Talc, mica, silica, zinc stearate, boron nitride, ethylhexyl palmitate, sodium dehydroacetate, caprylyl glycol, phenoxyethanol, vanillin, caprylic/capric triglyceride, hexylene glycol, vanilla planifolia fruit extract, kaolin, carmine (CI 75470), titanium dioxide (CI 77891), iron oxides (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499). The latest addition in the Tartelette family is Tartelette Juicy! This 12 pan eyeshadow palette features a rosy color palette with gorgeous bronzes and neutrals. Needed a bit of variation in tone with regards to the shimmer shades. Out of the 3 main shimmer shades, two are variations of copper. Could have done with a more rust toned shimmer or a even a slightly plum-my one.

Candle is the weakest shade for me, it’s very crumbly and has a lot of fall-out. It’s a beautiful shade but dipping your brush is creates a snow storm of powder. I still love it as an inner corner highlight shade but you have to be careful when using it as to not make a mess. Pigmentation Yes, I think if you have a good deal of palettes you’ll run into a lot of similiar shades but none are complete dupes. For example, Warmth and Cozy seem like shades I’ve seen before in many palettes but they have a much more warm and fiery undertone in comparison. The Tarte Tartelette Toasted palette came out at the tail end of last year and captured my attention right away. As a self-proclaimed warm toned eyeshadow lover, I knew I wanted this palette for myself. After kindly receiving this palette as a Christmas present and have been putting it to the test ever since.

Latest Eyeshadow Reviews

Urban Decay Heat Eyeshadow Palette launched a few short months ago and it definitely remains the warmest, richest, and most pigmented selection of fiery nudes around. It in fact might have you questioning of you need the Tarte Tartelette Toasted Eyeshadow Palette if you already own Heat. Warmth: Described by the brand as a terracotta. The shade of the hour (if not the year) – a medium, warm-toned, burnt orange shade – but kind of muted, instead of being bright. It had good pigmentation but was again powdery – though not as bad as Cashmere. The texture itself is quite smooth and easy to work with. This really is a beautiful palette, the shadows are high quality and certainly don’t disappoint. I think the shade range is fantastic and really thought out. It offers great variety and flexibility but still comfortably sits in that warm toned family. Despite it being so warm toned, it’s really wearable and surprising versatile. Its a palette I have been reaching for non-stop and such a beautiful addition to my collection. flower child Ingredients: Talc, mica, silica, zinc stearate, boron nitride, ethylhexyl palmitate, sodium dehydroacetate, caprylyl glycol, phenoxyethanol, vanillin, caprylic/capric triglyceride, hexylene glycol, vanilla planifolia fruit extract, kaolin, carmine (CI 75470), titanium dioxide (CI 77891), iron oxides (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499), ultramarines (CI 77007), manganese violet (CI 77742).

The product consists of a metallic gold case. It has good weight to it and feels luxurious. It would make a great gift item for the Holiday season – by the look of it. The palette has a full size (full size of the palette) mirror and 12 eyeshadows. Each eyeshadow has the brand name embossed in it. There is no brush/applicator. The palette has shade names of the individual shadows mentioned underneath the shadow itself. It comes with a coordinated cardboard exterior box which has the ingredients listed on it in detail. My Experience with Tarte Tartelette Toasted Eyeshadow Palette: For my first look I am going super warm. I focused on using the middle row mostly. With these super warm looks, while they make my eyes look more brown, I also feel they make me look quite pasty, so I try to go in with a bit of eyeliner to make my eyes stand out more. That way, I feel a look like this pops more and really adds that sultry aspect to it that makes these looks work. You have to keep in mind that this is not a universally-usable palette. Women with deeper skin tones may find the shade variation not working for them. I think this is more suitable for light to medium complexions, even tan skin, but anyone deeper, should skip this.

Crackle

And can say I enjoy all four for different reasons. Below are swatches of each the Tarte Tartelette, Tartelette in Bloom, Tartelette Toasted, and Tartelette Juicy. Which one(s) do I prefer the most?

Comments alerting us to typos or small errors in the post are appreciated (!) but It’s late October now and dare I say the Tarte Tartelette Toasted Eyeshadow Palette released at just the right time? The new Tartelette Toasted Eyeshadow Palette has been hinted at since May. Yes, May! Everyone has been eagerly awaiting this warm, Fall-themed palette for months now but Tarte used some smart marketing to build the hype and release it at just the right time when the leaves are starting the change and the cool bite of autumn is in the air.Sunset: Described by the brand as a bronze color. This is a medium golden copper shade with a metallic sheen. It is smooth and creamy with good pigmentation. Works very well all over the lid with a darker shade in the crease/outer V or both. If you’re into warm shades you’re bound to love this. It’s basically autumn in a palette. All the shades of all the falling leaves are right here in this palette. There isn’t a shade in this palette that I don’t love and use. That really is a rare thing to say. Layout Look 2 – This took a lot of effort in refraining to not go too warm. Also, it required a lot of blending. I tried to show the diversity in the palette by going more golden copper than warm rusty. A couple of shades are low on pigmentation, but like I said, this may be by design because they do serve more than one purpose in the palette.
