[1a] Overview [ ] No-one knows what happened in Kavzar, for the city was never heard of again. What was Kavzar became known as Skavenblight, a colossal city at the heart of an underground empire of tunnels, where rat-men – now known as Skaven – burrowed across the world. The box contains a solid assortment of minis for both sides, though it has been pointed out and fairly so that the Sylvaneth side wins out here. Its more elite, has far more points, and gets 2 new units (One character and a unit of 5) as opposed to the Skaven’s one character. The box is still a solid foundation for new Skaven players, with the Stormvermin and Clan Rats you need, along with a Gray Seer and the new Deathmaster to start building up your leader. Skaven Clanrats The weak spot of Stormvermin is their head: head-shots with both ranged and melee is the best (and sometimes only) way to take them out. However, if your weapon has the Armour Piercing characteristic, body shots also work well.

They do come in 160 model units, which helps mitigate their high cost and mediocre stats (for elite infantry). For Skryre Science Wizards, their best spell is undoubtedly More-more-more Warp Power!. This spell lets a Clan Skryre unit within 12” re-roll hit and wound rolls until the next hero phase. If you’re wanting to do one big turn of devastating damage, either ranged or in melee – or both! – then this is the big hitter you’re looking for. The only downside is that, after it’s all done and dusted, the target unit will suffer D3 mortal wounds – but who cares, if the damage is already done?

Also, some people here seem to underestimate the effectiveness of slave slingers. They can more or less deal with ♥♥♥♥ up to 60 armor without too much issues (provided a terrain and positioning advantage, which is usually met because for what i understand the post is about stormvermins in campaign). Properties allows a fully charged bolt to kill Bestigors. 4 Properties allows a fully charged bolt to kill Maulers. Each Albino Stormvermin is as large as any Skaven Warlord, but possesses a near-alien level of obedience and loyalty to those they protect. additionally keep in mind that since these monsters are huge targets, all of your teammates will hit them. so your 10% damage increase doesnt mean that the boss goes 10% faster down. it only increases your damage (on average your damage dealt is about 25 % of monsters health, so 10 % increase will make it about 27.5%) vs that monster that spawns usually once a game.. Stormvermin are knightly looking, every skaven believes they are better then everybody else so in a medieval world knights are seen as the most prestigious, the most important and skaven love that… Clan Mors employs a variety of techniques, from the tried and true waves of slaves and Clanrats to the mysterious assassinations employed by their trained killers. Perhaps their strongest asset is their use of poisons, for which they are famous throughout the Under-Empire. Still, the tactics of Clan Mors are hard to predict because their greatest strength is their rapid adaptation to the situation at hand. Unlike the Great Clans, they are not heavily invested in or beholden to any one particular method of war or weapon of choice, and that versatility is a notable asset among the often single-minded Skaven.
