About this deal

Apparently, the stealth bomber Megatron design used in IDW for a while was created by artist Don Figueroa. However, he created the design as part of a story pitch to editor Andy Schmidt; a pitch the editor rejected. Schmidt proceeded to use the design for this comic, but without compensation or credit to Figueroa; something the artist was highly displeased about. [1] Prompted by Senator Ratbat, Soundwave offered several weapons to Megatron, including the Energon mace. Megatron Origin 2 When Megatron later lost an arm in gladiatorial combat, his new arm featured the mace. Megatron Origin #3 Swing the panel in the middle inward, connecting the tabs on the panel to the corresponding grooves on the insides of the tread pieces.

Transformers: War for Cybertron Trilogy is a 2020 Netflix CGI-animated series showrun by F.J. Santo ( Titans Return, Power of the Primes), produced by Rooster Teeth, and animated by Polygon Pictures, loosely based on the Transformers toyline subseries of the same name (as opposed to the Video Game). Three seasons are now available on Netflix, each following one of the three main arcs of the series: Siege, Earthrise, and Kingdom.Megatron and his Decepticons built an Energon Drain weapon, which would render them unstopable if left unopposed. Optimus Prime and his Autobots intervened, and destroyed the weapon. Transformers Prime: Pulsar Defense Transformers Prime: Decepticon Strike Shout-Out: In episode 3 of Kingdom, Dinobot comes close to killing Megatron, but gets ambushed by Predacon Megatron, who severely wounding him. Now when was the last time you’ve seen a Tyrannosaurus Rex come out of nowhere to take down a raptor? Earthrise figures allow fans to build out epic space battle scenes, featuring figures that can convert into Modular Battle Station modes and connect together to expand the battlefield (each sold separately, subject to availability) Megatron's appearance in Forged to Fight is a mild modification of his Generation 1 counterpart's game model, itself based on the Combiner Wars Leader Class Megatron toy.

Following the exile of the Quintessons from Cybertron, the two races of robots that they had created, the Autobots and the Decepticons, went to war with each other. Although physically weaker, the Autobots claimed victory thanks to their development of a new ability: the art of transforming. The Autobots' victory began the Golden Age of Cybertron, but all was not well within this seeming paradise. After many centuries of Autobot rule, the Decepticons developed transformation as well, along with new robot mode flight powers, leading to the creation of Megatron. Five Faces of Darkness, Part 4 Unusually, TakaraTomy made some minor exceptions to brand unification with their exclusives. Siege Nemesis Prime is unique to the Japanese market, with TakaraTomy even releasing Hasbro's Earthrise version the next year. Meanwhile, Soundblaster received minor deco changes compared to the Hasbro releases which came nearly two years before. Megatron and Soundwave somehow slipped some code into Invasionauts II to hypnotize Raf into opening the GroundBridge so they could send Vehicons through. Tinker, Tailor, Gamer, Spy! Irritated at Starscream's failure to end the Autobot problem, Megatron demanded his subordinate try and lure the Autobots into a trap instead for fruitlessly searching for them. All the President's 'Bots! Dinobot refers to Starscream and the Decepticons as "Ghosts". Then when he dies he becomes one literally. All the colors from the robot mode carry over here. The only "newly revealed" colors are silver and red on the cannon barrel. You can also see the metallic brown on the armor panels on the sides of the tread sections. One very impressive aspect of this deco is the way the battle damage carries over to this mode. There is "wear" on both the turret section and the tank treads. I was very happy to see the way the "wear" carried over into this form. Inside the Quintesson's kangaroo court, Optimus Prime was put on trial for public mayhem, treason, and galactic blasphemy. Optimus Prime's brainwashed troops corroborated the Quintesson prosector's line of inquiry. However, Megatron himself came to Optimus's defense, asserting that the Quintessons did not create the Transformers as they so claimed. The trial had also jogged Megatron's memories; he remembered fighting in the war that routed the aliens from Cybertron and vowed that he'd gladly do it again. The Quintesson judges found them innocent, and so sentenced the two leaders to banishment. Whoever killed the other leader in combat would be allowed to leave Aquatron unmolested. The two leaders battled, unaware that the Quintessons were harvesting the energy they exerted to power a space bridge to Cybertron. When the Quintessons had enough, they dumped both of them into a Pirahnacon pit. Optimus and Megatron managed to escape the Pirahnacons with the help of Optimus's Matrix, and escaped into the subterranean tunnels beneath Hydratron. Under Megatron's leadership, the Decepticons conquered many city states including Kalis, Tarn, and Vos. When the time came to strike against Iacon, Megatron led a five-con team in under the cover of darkness to bomb the Iacon Energon Refinery. They had barely planted the first bomb when they were spotted and fired on. After the other three Decepticons were shot down, Megatron gave Soundwave a bomb and set about causing a distraction while his second-in-command went to plant it. When Soundwave was also shot down, Megatron flew into action, helping up the rest of his team and carrying Soundwave as they retreated under the cover of an exploding bomb. War Story

The next morning, Megatron convened with Optimus outside the negotiation hall, only to reveal that he had brought along six Vehicons with him to kill Optimus. The two began fighting, until Skywarp detonated a bomb outside, which caused the Pavilion to start flooding. Optimus switched off his Matrix and helped Megatron to escape, but on the surface they encountered Tyrannicon and his Sharkticon flotilla, who arrested all the Cybertronians present. The defeated Autobots and Decepticons were rounded up into a prison ship headed for the city of Hydratron; Megatron spent most of the voyage loudly and angrily criticizing Optimus Prime's leadership. When the prisoners were transferred to a train, Megatron ran afoul of several Sharkticons, who managed to subdue him long enough for him to be loaded onto the train and shipped to Hydratron's Hall of Justice.Although battle-damaged paint is one of the distinguishing features of the Siege imprint, it seems that Hasbro's dedication to it is pretty tenuous. The Voyager Class toys are the only ones that seem to receive any significant amount, while Leaders hardly get any and Deluxes range from little to none. The cunning Decepticon leader, Megatron, converts to tank mode mode in 17 steps. Includes 2 accessories. Earthrise Megatron is a fairly significant reworking of Siege Megatron. At first glance I wouldn't blame you if you thought both figures were the same toy with some different accessories, but several parts are actually different: On top of all the G1-based designs, there are a lot of smaller details all over the figure. This includes bars and panels on the arms and legs. While these greebles add some texture to the figure, I do not believe they take the figure over the top.

Seeking to challenge the Autobots' rule of the road, Megatron created the Stunticons and brought them to Cybertron so that Vector Sigma could bring them to life. Stealing the mega-com Despite its one large flaw (the head panel that does not rest on anything) I absolutely love this figure. It looks more like G1 Megatron than any recent "Generations" figures and there is plenty of play value. Highly recommended! Long after the Great War had ended and Megatron was gone, an ancient purple rod said to have been his Energon mace laid on display in the Administrator's office. Broken Windshields Star Trek vs. Transformers You know you can't catch a break when you find yourself trapped inside a novelty plasma lamp from Spencer's. Part of the retooling for this release involves Megatron getting a whole new set of accessories. Here's a rundown:Seriously, Soundwave, where is my fusion cannon?! It was in your remodeling designs, for crying out loud... A word of warning: the peg on the sword accessory is attached to the sword piece by a small hinge. It is not pinned in. Instead it relies on raised nubs on either side to hold it in place on the sword piece. However, the 5mm ports on the forearms of my copy are so tight than when I attached the sword to either forearm the sword popped off leaving the peg in place. I had to use pliers to get the peg out so be warned. The legs are vaguely shaped like the halves of a gun handle, which has its roots in G1 Megatron's design. At some point during the voyage, Megatron changed his alternate mode to that of a Cybertronian spacecraft.
