I like this idea as long as it holds the pressure over time. I’m not sure about the longevity of this system. It could become a problem down the road as parts wear out or seals become less effective. This may render it useless if it stops holding pressure.

A portable toilet brings with it both pros and cons. They are great at bringing you the peace of mind that you can go easily at any time of the day or night, especially if you have children with you. But these mobile toilets also come in handy during renovations in the house or just as a second toilet. The Porta Potti is simple to transport and really can be placed anywhere. There isn’t much you can replace on these toilets other than the main seal and a few other small parts. Some portable toilets from other brands don’t even allow that. This means that once something goes wrong, you have to waste a large container of plastic. Tossing a big plastic box into the trash like this is hard to stomach if you are more environmentally conscious. This is a first class product which comes with a free hold down kit. The materials used in construction are of a very high standard which makes not only the function of the toilet easy but looks pleasing to the eye ( if a loo can be pleasing to look at !) Much like the Thetford toilet from above, the Dometic 976 is a great option for those looking for a small toilet that has a good capacity. Many of the features are the same with slight differences. Pros Large Capacity Like Thetford, Dometic is another well-known brand, and this portable toilet for a campervan is a convenient option for touring. It’s simple to operate, thanks to the push button, while the tank level indicator will let you keep an eye on when it’s time to empty it. Yes, you can continue to return items as normal as long as you follow the government guidelines about leaving your house. This toilet is marketed with less pumping in mind. The idea is that you pump the toilet up and then push a button when ready to flush. The button will allow you to flush multiple times before needing to pump it up with more pressure. It’s similar to a garden sprayer in which you pump it up and then the pressure allows you to discharge water into the bowl as needed. Although it is a bit bulky at 12 pounds empty, it is still a great option for bigger families or longer trips where emptying is harder to do. In fact, my sister and her partner have been using this toilet in their van for the last two years. Bought this for camper van trips away and it has been a complete saviour. It has made a huge difference to where to stay and it is compact and easy to store out of the way. This is much better than some of the other ones I have tried, including the Dometic discussed below. This makes it fairly comfortable to sit on for an adult.
