This is a great way to get younger generations reading something as intricate as the seerah, in a simple, yet engaging manner. Most seerah books are written at a very academic level, so this is a refreshing change, and one that is needed to engage younger generations. The chapters are just the right length to keep the reader engaged. The writing could have possibly been a bit bigger, but this may just be me showing my age! He went to St John’s College, one of the top schools in Zimbabwe and had set his mind on becoming an ophthalmologist. But the Almighty had other plans for him. He went on to study Shariah in Madinah, specialised in jurisprudence and later became the Grand Mufti of Zimbabwe. Today, Mufti Menk is one of the most prominent and prolific Islamic scholars. He has a whole list of accolades to his name. Among them, one of “The Top 500 Most Influential Muslims in the World” since 2010. He also holds a Doctorate of Social Guidance from Aldersgate University. Millions of people follow him across all his social media platforms. He is loved and known for his engaging lectures, delivered with clarity, sound and practical approach, wit and humour which together have become the hallmark of Mufti Menk.
