About this deal

What If the Baby Is Like Me: Reason why Kyouhei doesn't want to have kids, and is meticulous about condom usage. He has to get over it in the final volume, when Kaya becomes pregnant, and the baby is clearly a powerful vampire. Abigail eventually discovers that there is more to her new boss than meets the eye. He is a vampire. Vampires are drawn to witch blood more than any other kind so she has to keep her magic a secret at all costs. She can’t let Sebastian discover what she really is. Since sexual attraction makes it even harder to keep her magic quiet, that task becomes harder and harder. Review- Not a lot happens in this volume other than we see Kyohei finally come to terms with the fact that he is in love with Kaia and that he's going to have to deal with that. We do get to see exactly how competent Kaya is and running both the secretarial group for her new company and still managing all of Kyohei affairs at night. At the end of the volume it is revealed that Kyohei has left his father's company to create one of his own. He feels that it is time for him to move on and that he has repaid the debt he owes his family. Of course he wants Kaya to come and be his secretary there but as she has contracted to work at the new company for a year she is currently refusing. It will be interesting to see where the story goes in the next four volumes. Tomu, Ohmi (2007). "Chapter 5". Midnight Secretary (in Japanese). Vol.1. Shogakukan. p.189. ISBN 978-4-09-130857-3. This is the chaos of Abigail’s life. Her mother is dying. She is filled with dark magic she can’t control, and she is fighting the crazy connection between she and Sebastian. She’s a witch, he’s a vampire. It would never work, would it?

Favorite Character: Abigail. I understood her pain as she’s dealing with a lot. If her mother dies, will she ascend as High Priestess? Even though there’s some in the coven who despise her? And what about Sebastian and her dark fantasies about him sinking his fangs into her while they have sex? Mmm, deliciously dark and seductive. Meanwhile her witchy friend, Rebecca, gets drunk and Abigail gets a call from the bartender asking for help. Even though it’s 3 am, she’s gotta go and rescue several beefy bouncers and bartenders from a single petite female who happens to be a powerful witch. (Best scene ever!) Abbie to the rescue and on her way out the door, she asks about a job at the club. A waitressing job is better than working so closely with Sebastian. And Kyouhei and Kaya are one of my favorite otps of all time. There's just something about these two people meeting and changing each other's lives that makes my heart pump like no other manga does! Favorite Quote: “Then you have to keep your mouth and fangs to yourself!” she jumped up from the couch, not minding the blanket that fell to the floor.

GN 1

Puny Earthlings: How vampires see humans. To them, humans are just a source of food, tools, and an occasional sex toy.

I liked the way Kyouhei is drawn. At first, I didn't, but after becoming aquainted with him...it fits. The men are drawn in a bit more of an old fashioned way, but Kaya is beautifully drawn. As far as, ease of read, it is. It reads very easily and the story is easy to follow. Everything is explained in detail, from the way blood tastes different for the vampires to his weaknesses to the handlings of the coorperation. I Can Change My Beloved: Played with. Kaya doesn't believe that Kyouhei can change and doesn't even try. However, Kyouhei does change, in that he becomes more open and, even though not becoming less proud, he doesn't let his vampire pride control himself so much. Wendell, Sarah (20 December 2008). "Online Manga: The Midnight Secretary". Smart Bitches, Trashy Books . Retrieved 13 April 2009. Until then, when she’s not writing, Erin is devouring as many books as possible on her quest to have the biggest book gut of all time. She’s written over thirty books, ranging from paranormal romance, urban fantasy, and even scifi romance. Oblivious to Love: It takes Kyouhei a while to realize he's emotionally vested in Kaya. He comes to terms with it shortly after finding out he's addicted to her blood.More than Mind Control What Kaya fears Kyouhei is doing to her. He isn't. He comments it's more likely the other way around.

Vampires Are Rich: As it turns out, vampires in this series own much of the worlds large corporations. Due to a combination of business talent, experience, and marrying well. I'm sure if I try to read this manga again in about 3 years I'll go crazy, however, actually this manga was very addictive to read, I felt like I was 13 again, at least until part of it. Considered to be the "perfect secretary" yet constantly criticized for her ultra-conservative dress style by her boss, Director Kyouhei Touma of the Touma Company, Kaya lives a normal life until she finds out that her employer is actually a vampire. Despite uncovering his identity, she dedicates herself to serving the Director to the best of her abilities. The early part of the story focuses on the trials and tribulations of Kaya's increasingly hectic workload, then shifts to the developing personal relationship between her and the Director. Sin embargo, sigue acostándose con otras mujeres para alimentarse y es un poco molesto ✨Art: It's curious, I know the manga is from the 2000s, but his art looks older, I'm not very used to that style, but it's not bad art, just different. The series is about this girl who becomes the new secretary of this hot CEO guy. Now this guy is special because he is a bloody manchild. Acting like a kid on many occasions. But its ok cuz he's hot, a vampire, and rich. Also yeah he's a vampire in this story. Because the author was too busy to think up of actual ideas she just took one from the free idea book. Enjoyment: Well, like I said before, it was fun like reading a fanfic until one part, after that it got boring.

There is some really really bad family drama going as well. The family drama between the male lead and his mom was ok actually. Dare i say decent. But when the female leads mom was involved that was kinda shit. The book starts out exactly where part two ended. Abigail Blanchard is face to face with her boss from Midnight Pharmaceuticals only that he is also the owner of the club she was applying for a job at since she wanted to quit Midnight Pharm. You see, things between she and Sebastian Storm, her boss, had gotten a bit complicated. And she felt it was just better to get a different job. Now, Sebastian wants an explanation. Why is she looking for a new job? This is part one of the three part serial series, Vampire CEO by Erin R. Bedford. I’ve never read anything by Ms. Bedford before so I really had no idea what to expect and what a wonderful surprise this was.
