Proven Performance

Ease of application– We found Stormdry very easy to apply; it was like mayonnaise and adhered to the brush and wall very well and didn’t drip much. We first brushed off any loose dust and then applied the cream using narrow brushes around the window frames and wider brushes on the rest of the wall. We see no reason why the user couldn’t use a roller, but we chose brushes so we could dab the cream into the small indentations and crevices on the wall. Ensure the substrate is clean and dry before application. Unwanted old coatings as well as algae and moss must be removed. We follow a detailed, rigorous process to create content that is helpful, factually correct and meets the highest standard of integrity. Test a small, representative area to ensure the product is not repelled and also that the dry finished surface appearance is acceptable. Applying a Facade Cream

The manufacturer states that this barrier prevents water from entering the wall and causing damage such as dampness, mould, and efflorescence. Stormdry Cream appears white immediately after treatment, making it easy to tell which areas have been treated. After 15 – 20 minutes from application the cream starts to penetrate into the masonry and the whiteness will fade over time. After 24 – 48 hours the wall will have returned to its original appearance, there may be some slight darkening which will fade over time.
