Would have given it 5 Stars if volume button increased/decreased on a sliding scale as opposed to chunks, being either to loud or to quiet, can be fine tuned using original Samsung remote, but need to have both remotes at hand as one likes it louder and the other one likes it quieter! When you turn your T3•R on for the first time after it has updated, a message will be displayed confirming the update has taken place successfully. The Manhattan T3-R is the perfect upgrade for those looking for a smarter Freeview experience, complete with UK-focused on-demand apps and PVR capabilities. When HDMI Control is enabled, the T3 also has a setting to ‘Turn Off Devices’. Turn this on and when you press the standby button on your T3 remote it will also put your TV and any other connected and compatible devices in standby too!

The usual features you might be used to on your Sky/BT/Virgin Media box – such as pausing live TV for up to two hours, initiating series links and making one-touch recordings – work like a breeze. When first turning on the T3-R from standby and going to the Recordings menu the recordings sections could appear empty until exiting and re-entering the menu. The discontinuation was part of Manhattan’s strategy to make way for its next-generation Freeview boxes, the T4 and T4-R. Win: With its built-in electronic program guide (EPG), this product offers a convenient way to browse and schedule your recordings. The EPG provides detailed information about upcoming shows, making it easy to plan your viewing and recording preferences. Its user-friendly interface ensures a seamless and intuitive experience.

Flexible reminders: While two recordings are in progress, reminders can be set for programmes on (available) third channels.
