The 35'' Light Dome II uses 16 rods which create 32 points of axis, allowing an exceptionally round beam of light that is almost a perfect circle. Combining this with the Aputure COB Series or other compatible Bowens mount fixtures, creatives are now able to get a precise circular round light that also functions as a catch light in the eyes of your on-camera talent.

The perfectly engineered tunnel ensures an exceptional reflection of the incoming daylight. Actually 98% of the incoming sunlight is reflected into your living space. The Light Dome II comes with two layers of ultra-soft diffusion: Magic Cloth and Silk Cloth. Combined, these materials turn your hard COB light into a beautiful soft light that provides a very even wrap around your subject, making the Light Dome II the perfect diffuser for portraits, interviews, documentaries, music videos, and narratives.The Light Dome II includes a studio grade fabric grid to help focus in your light beam angle to 40 degrees. When filming any subject, reflections are bound to occur. Many are desirable like the catch light of a model’s eyes. Using 16 fiberglass rods, the Light Dome SE guarantees beautiful circular reflections are always pleasing to the eye. The Light Dome SE is designed to grow along with your creative journey. Featuring the most universal mount possible, we created this modifier to be versatile and compatible with not only the Amaran 100d/x and Amaran 200d/x, but also the Aputure 120d, Aputure 300d, and even many other third-party Bowens Mount lights.

If you have a bathroom with no windows, a dark corridor or dull wardrobe space, you can benefit from a sun tunnel. They are available for both flat roofs pitched from 0 - 15° or for sloped roofs with a pitch between 15 and 60°. A hole is made in the outside of your roof and down to your ceiling. Then the tube is fitted down into the hole, and a dome is installed on the roof. A light diffuser is installed at the ceiling end of the tube to distribute the daylight into previously dimmed spaces. Generation 2 of the Light Dome now includes a gel holder that is carefully places to maximise the capabilities of your gels while minimising the amount of material needed from them. Flexible Fiberglass Rods: 16 lightweight and flexible fiberglass rods ensure the Light Dome SE maintains a circular shape for perfect eyelights and light falloff.The five-pound Light Dome III can provide videographers with a large cylindrical soft box to throw soft light in a space much smaller (and a setup time much faster) than traditional soft boxes, while the three-pound Light Dome Mini III looks to appeal to photographers who “appreciate and prefer the light quality of a beauty dish but find using and storing them cumbersome” as this new collapsing design offers similar light quality in a far more portable product.

But even so, regardless of the deflected journey of the light, it still sends impressive amounts of brightness into your previously dim spaces.Caution: When using colour gels with powerful LED lights, such as the Aputure C300D, the heat will cause the filter gels to distort or burnt after a period of time. You are advised to change new sheets of colour filters once every three hours during constant usage; You are recommended to use ROSCO or LEE for better results. A roof light tube features a panel sitting discreetly on the outside of your roof, that effectively reflects the sunlight and channels it into the room, and a diffuser that distributes the natural light.
