Prevent any sealer from entering the empty grout joints. When grouting natural stone, ensure they are sealed and grouted in strict adherence to the stone manufacturer’s / supplier’s recommendations. After filling the joints, do not sprinkle Mapei Keracolor FF powder onto the grout as this can cause uneven colour and reduce the mechanical strength. MAPEI Flexcolor 3D is a professional-grade, ready-to-use (RTU) translucent specialty grout with an “iridescent effect” finish. It is offered in 10 designer colors with translucent characteristics that not only reflect but also refract light. This allows the grout to transition in color to complement the tile color. The “translucent effect” is most noticeable with the color Crystal Moon (#201), while the other nine colors exhibit a more pronounced “iridescent effect.”

Mix with FUGOLASTIC for improved performance in heavy duty areas such as externally on exposed facades, balconies or swimming pools with wave machines. Fill the joints with the prepared Mapei Keracolor SF mix using a special MAPEI trowel or rubber squeegee, without leaving any gaps or steps. Remove any excess Mapei Keracolor SF from the surface, by moving the trowel or squeegee diagonally across the joints while the mix is still fresh. This operation may also be carried out with a special machine with a sponge belt. To make removal of the hardened product from the tiles easier, a dampened Scotch-Brite pad or Kerakoll Cleaning Pad, or a rotating, single-head polisher with a felt disk may be used before cleaning with the sponge. Keracolor SF is a super fine, high performance cementitious grout, polymer modified, for joints up to 4 mm. Mapei Keracolor Flex has been specifically developed to complement today’s contemporary tile designs and décor. Available in a choice of modern colours for use with a wide range of tiled finishes including ceramic, porcelain, natural stone and glass tiles and mosaics. Once cured the grout provides a fine gently textured surface creating a very appealing contemporary feel.
