In the store, Sir Cadault’s face is… Everywhere! From clothes and posters to a hologram in the center of the room. And inside of mirrors, too. No, really! Whenever someone comes up to a mirror, Cadault’s face appears from nowhere, rating their outfit with a “Très chic, it’s a Ca-DO” or “Désolé, that’s a Ca-DON’T”. The second brand — again, a real one — that appears in the third season of Emily in Paris is Edgard and Cooper. In episode 4, this Belgian-based pet food company comes to Agence Grateau to hear their creative proposal. By not choosing, as Jean-Paul Sartre said, you’re still making a choice. The course material of Emily’s Level 1 language class is telling her to be decisive, and so are her dreams: There she is, atop the Eiffel Tower. Both Madeline ( Kate Walsh) and Sylvie ( Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu) are gesturing to her to come with them, but Emily (Lily Collins), confused and ambivalent, plummets from the Tower to certain death. But Camille looks miserable while Gabriel recites his vows. When it’s her turn to speak, she just says, “You don’t have to do this” — ah, romance! In front of God and everybody, Camille reveals her and Emily’s pact to never be with Gabriel and admits to breaking it, maybe because she “didn’t want to lose.” If you look closely you can actually pinpoint the exact moment Alfie’s heart breaks in two, as Camille tells Gabriel, “You and Emily have been in love with each other since the moment you met.”
After the wedding that wasn't, Emily and Gabriel are left to deal with the debris. They admit they've always had feelings for each other, but there's one major thing standing in their way. Gabriel had no clue what Camille was up to. While Emily wanted to tell him the truth, she was constantly advised by Mindy not to get between the lovers, as she once did. It was best for them to deal with it the way they thought was best suited. To Emily’s surprise, Gabriel informed her that he was engaged to Camille after she returned from Greece. Even though she knew how problematic the entire situation was, she chose to stay out of it. At their engagement party, Emily spoke with Camille and expressed how she was aware of her affair with Sofia. She asked her to tell the truth to Gabriel, but Camille could not care less. She reminded Emily that it was just a fling that was over, just like her relationship with Gabriel. It’s a long, awkward night for Emily and next up is a drunk text from Gabriel. He doesn’t want a hookup, he just needs a friend. She shows up to find a messy Gabriel moaning over a photo that Camille took with Sofia and some guys. Gabriel is terrified that she’s breaking things off, knowing that she’s never fully forgiven him for his affair with Emily. He declares his love for Emily, but she can’t be sure if it’s genuine or if it’s just the whiskey talking.Emily finally confronts Camille at her engagement party at her family's Champagne château. "You need to tell Gabriel, okay? He deserves to know," Emily tells her. "Why? it was just a fling and now it's over. Just like you and Gabriel, right?" Camille replies. Emily suggests that Nicolas incorporate a piece of music written by Benoit for Mindy as an element of the Soleil De Paris promotion, and he agrees when she grabs Mindy’s cellphone and blasts the music over the DJ’s speakers. Folks at the gathering begin to dance, and Nicolas voices his surprise.
