This is no doubt a beast mode fragrance and one of my best performing. I get an easy 10+ hours of wear from this with only 3-5 sprays.

Halfeti Leather and Halfeti Cedar rest, as expected, on the notes that make up their names and are fairly stable as they fade. Legacy of Petra is one of Penhaligon’s newer unisex fragrances and was released in 2022. It’s warm, spicy, sweet and the vanilla’s not overpowering. Quercus is supposed to be a men’s perfume but we found it too sweet to be a mens’ fragrance. The citrus was overpowering and made it smell like furniture polish. Quercus is on our miss list and not something any one in my family would wear.

I would wear this to events where you'd like to look your peers in the eyes and say, I'm one of you now. I belong at this table, now hand me that cigar and pour me a bourbon. HALFETI I’ve been trying Penhaligon perfumes over the last month so here’s my honest thoughts and comprehensive Penhaligon’s review including a little of this luxury cruelty-free perfume brands history and which fragrances the Royals wear. If you read my review of Atelier Cologne Oud Saphir ,you will know that I have a bit of a problem with the huge over-use of aoud in recent years. I'm a total Oud-a-phobe and in Halfeti it has been used in a familiar way: next to leather with a sprinkling of spice and some rose for good measure. The element that I enjoy most about the fragrance is the dry, herbal quality throughout, which reminds me of old apothecary chests filled with lavender sachets. There is nothing truly unique about the way in which Halfeti has been composed, yet there is no disputing its quality and rich texture. Penhaligon's scents are always beautifully composed, and Halfeti isno exception, although it is a bit predictableoud/rose/ wood perfume. With that being said, it is sure to have great appeal tothose who love and never tire ofthis genre. Thankfully I don’t smell the vanilla notes and the citrus doesn’t make it smell like cleaning products. The longer I wear it, the more smells I discover. It’s actually quite complex. Empressa is a great perfume if you’re looking for something floral that works for both the day and night but to me it’s definitely more of a Summer than Winter fragrance.This is quite peppery, strong and obviously has juniper berry. I personally think it’s more on the masculine side than feminine and quite a strong fragrance. A little Juniper Sling goes a long way to spritz lightly! It’s on my miss list and not one I’ll try again. Along with what each fragrance smells like to me. Including Empressa, Halfeti and Luna, my personal hits and misses, whether they’re worth the price and my very favorite. Bearing in mind perfumes wear differently on everyone due to how they react with your skin and body chemistry.
