The stunning kitchen overlooks the rear garden and has lots of storage and integrated oven, hob, dishwasher and fridge freezer. The cupboard in the kitchen is set up as a utility space with a washing machine. From the very first phone call with Barry things went very smoothly. Barry was very professional and knowledgeable and also came up with some excellent ideas for our kitchen and lounge extension. He dealt with the full application process, from completing the drawings to obtaining the planning permission and building warrant through to the issuing of our completion certificate. Barry also liaised with our builder as required throughout the build. Working with Barry was a pleasure from start to finish and I would have no hesitation in working with him again. Very professional and extremely friendly. Constant updates provided throughout all stages of design and approval. Would highly recommend. This fine home does require a little attention internally and is waiting for the next generation to make it their own and reach its full potential. The size of plot ( 0.24 Acre - or thereabouts) would allow for further development of the property with the relevant planning permissions being obtained. Barry was recommend to us by our structural engineer. His words were “He is very good, very reliable and very reasonably priced”. He was not wrong!
In dealing with Barry from the point of my first phone call, I can only say that is has been a pleasure. Not only have I saved a lot of time in the design/approval process, I feel I have someone who is more than willing to go above and beyond and assist with anything required (especially the uneducated questions from people like myself). Pleasure to deal with and would 100% recommend him to friends and family undertaking similar work. Excellent thorough service. The rear, more private and substantial and rear gardens consist of substantial lawn with and well planted flower beds, lawn sections and a slabbed sun terrace. We really love the sunroom design and enjoy the space of the open plan kitchen. He communicates excellent throughout the project. This property is in an idyllic location with easy access to local amenities, train station and direct motorway links to Edinburgh and Glasgow. Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence Barry has done a fantastic job. Explained everything really clearly, talked me through the entire process and helped with all council application stuff. Really has went above and beyond. A true professional to his trade. I would recommend Barry to anyone needing any architectural work done.
