The best "Wellies" I have ever had is Navitas lite insulated boots". A fully removable felt liner which can be replaced. I use them not only for freshwater fishing in the winter but also stood on the beach sea fishing and I have never had cold feet in them yet. In Summer just use them without the liner, they have good tread and they are that lite you don't know you have them on. You can even use the liner on it's own as a bivvy boot but no good to stand in the wet on their own. The Frensham Ponds Hotel is a lovely place to enjoy afternoon tea after your walk. Salomon’s boots are so light and flexible you’ll want to break into a run, which may please your dog no end. They’re made for walking, of course, but their lightness makes them best suited to firm ground. They do repel the water better than you may expect from the mesh fabric uppers, thanks to a Gore-Tex lining that makes the boot both waterproof and breathable, so they’re fine for drizzle and shallow puddles.
Sure some grips are better and the material they are made out of is equally important. They look decent enough better than my flip flops. Frensham Ponds were originally created in the 13th century to supply fish to the Bishop of Winchester whilst visiting Farnham Castle. HOWEVER ..................HALLYFUKINLOOYAH............... I can tell you Navitas Weave Slip On Trainers are bloomy brilliant grip Sadly I have big hands xxl gloves and bloody wide feet too buying boots is a real problem Im a size 10 wide and bought a size 11 VASS everyone said was roomy it aint !!!!
