About this deal

The Speaker Volume dial (settings 1-4) is the major adjustment for what you hear. If you need to adjust it, turn the dial until you feel the dial slide into the next numbered position. Once you find a comfortable setting, remember from Step 4, you also have a fine tune speaker adjustment on the headset which allows you to make small volume adjustments from call to call. As you know each call you take is different so having a volume control on the headset lets you easily adjust as needed. Plantronics CS540 cordless headset is the wireless headset replacement of the globally-recognised Plantronics CS55 and Plantronics CS50… it’s lighter, newer and carries more features than before, without anything too unusual or outstanding to take you by surprise. The CS540 is perfect in its simplicity and efficiency, perhaps leading it to the top of the shopping list for so many businesses.

The Plantronics CS540 is currently the lightest DECT headset on the market and offers outstanding performance with a range of over 100 m (328 ft) sophisticated sound technology, and adaptive power system for longer talk-time and standby. Compatible with most business phones the headset can be used to answer and end calls remotely when used with an Electronic Hookswitch Cable or Handset Lifter (sold separately) for added convenience. Extremely compact and comfortable to wear, as a convertible headset, the CS540 can be worn over the head or over-the-ear to suit individual preference. Key Features

The simple answer is no, as the wireless headset doesn’t have a way to access phone functionality via the headset. However there is a workaround that can serve the same purpose, more or less. The CS540 also has the ability to conference up to three users on the same line, which, depending on your business needs, could be a deal breaker for an office headset. In most all cases, echo is caused by having volume(s) set too high. When you stop to consider that the different volumes that need to be adjust properly include:But...before I begin, I did want to let you know that I recorded a Youtube video of some of the more common issues people have when using the Poly CS540 wireless headset.
