Essenza is a conservative perfume, fresh, and cool character. It is a perfume which you wear for yourself to enjoy. I’m yet to receive a compliment for it, but that doesn’t bother me. Acqua di Parma states that the fragrance embodies the traditional values of the Colonia while embracing a modern perspective which I agree with. For modern-day standards, less feminine than it’s the originator. Cloves are non-existent in this perfume, so those cannot stand this note will be pleased to hear this.

Acqua Di Parma: Iconic Italian Luxury. Shop luxury perfumes, skincare, candles & more at great prices. It’s quite an unusual thing for me to experience such a well-known house so late in my fragrance journey, but I have to give this to the general unavailability of Acqua di Parma products in my country. It does have the Colonia DNA. Feels like a classic, classic in the sense that there's no modern sweet twist or aqua note, just a traditional blend that recalls a time when colognes where relatively straightforward and not necessarily simple, but restrained and conservative. Colonia Essenza is a true gentleman's scent. There is no sweetness, no gourmand quality. This citrus aromatic is masterful example of the marriage of freshness with masculinity and also of delicacy with depth. Classy, cool, sophisticated, clean, manly, well put together, without being stuffy.
